A much needed getaway..

Phew! I'm glad that I'm now in the last trimester of this pregnancy. If you have been following my blog, then you should know that I have some issues with my back and my butt. I have this condition called Pelvic Girdle Pain ever since I was about 9 weeks pregnant. Now I'm already in my 33rd week so you imagine how much pain I've endured over the past 7 months.

So, this thing called Pelvic Girdle Pain is caused by
the softening, along with postural changes, muscle weakness and differences in the movement occurring between the left and right pelvic joints can cause too much stress on the joints, ligaments and muscles of the pelvis. There's no cure for this pain and it can only worsen as the pregnancy progresses.

I'm so looking forward
to the birth of my little baby girl in early September, to be able to hold her in my arms. After a month long confinement period, I hope hubby and I will be able to spend some time with our kids alone, perhaps to bring them on a family vacation. Talking about vacation, we haven't had one for a very long time already. I'll definitely suggest Azul Beach Hotel at Riviera Maya. I've read tonnes of good review on them and how the place has family-friendly amenities, perfect for a family like us. If it's just the two of us, maybe we'll even consider going to Hidden Beach Resort. LOL.

Dream wedding

It's almost over. The fatigue I experienced since Week 5 of my pregnancy is almost over. I don't feel as tired anymore. See, I can stay up till midnight, something which I wasn't able to do for the past 3 months. My body just felt so weak and it does trick to my mind as well. Just like how lack of sleep can makes me feel like I can float in the air, drifting along with the wind or something like that. Seriously.

I was watching Discovery Home and Health on cable TV just now, and didn't even realised that it's already was past my bed time. You know, I love watching the wedding planner because that kind of gives me an idea how a real wedding is. Of course there are endless and endless things to prepare, things to do on the wedding day itself. It's really getting to a point where it's almost impossible to have a wedding without a wedding planner. Unless you're in for a chaotic wedding.

No wonder more and more people are opting for destination weddings in romantic places far away from home, like at the White-Sandy Beaches of Riviera Maya. All they need to do is to fly in their closest family members and every thing else is taken care of. Stress-free wedding is so becoming the next big thing.

No more plane ride for Shern

The only reason I was so keen to apply for a new passport in replacement for my almost expired one is because we got a weekend getaway planned, to Pattaya that is. But with all the havoc and protest going on in Bangkok right now, rest assured that we won't be going there anytime soon. Just canceled our tickets. Bummer.

So disappointing. Shern is so looking forward to getting a plane ride, and how do I tell him we're not going anymore. I bet he'll ask me a thousand 'why'?

Sigh...

Let's head to Europe next

Mom and the rest of the family just got home from Shanghai, China. Well, up till now, I heard enough complains from them, especially with the so unfriendly Chinese tour guide and lousy food. Apart from that, they had a good time bonding with each other, and a good time shopping. I was told that at the end of their trip, they were each given a questionnaire to complete, a rating on the tour, the tour guide, places they went and their accommodation. Well, nothing comparable to Ireland Hotels of course, but that's not their main issue there. It was the food they were served. Lousy, cheap food though they were told that they will be served hearty big meals before the trip. Bluff.
They were also asked what will be their next holiday destination, aunt note down Korea, while uncle said New Zealand. I suggested that for the next trip, we should head to Europe, since it's easy to find cheap and good Dublin Hotels or places like Cork Hotels. Furthermore, we have never been to Europe together, the whole bunch of us. Erm, I can imagine how fun it'll be when we just sit and talk over a cup of hot coffee in one of the Shannon Hotels, we'll sure have a good time. I know.

The Zero fare deal

AirAsia is having a free flight promotion to Perth. Ticket is absolutely free, travelers only need to pay for the tax and airport charges. The last time I checked, tax plus airport charges is within the range of RM500-RM600 which is dirt cheap. We went to Perth last year for my brother's graduation, all 9 of us stayed at my brother's rented house. Free Perth Accomodation, how could we resist?

Anyway, we're lucky that we have relatives all over the places. So, whenever we travel, we always could stay over at relatives place. This way, we get to save tonnes of money in terms of paying for the hotel and spend it on enjoying good food and entertainment too. I'd love to travel to Sydney one day, to my sister's in laws place. One thing for sure, I don't have to worry about Sydney Accomodation because she will take care of it. Some might not be so lucky to have relatives overseas, so they no choice but to stay in a hotel, but from my experience, it's better to check hotel rates online before making any bookings as hotel rates such as Melbourne Accomodation and Brisbane Accomodation varies depending on season.

Free flights everyone!

So what if Air Asia advertise FREE FLIGHTS TO ALL INTERNATIONAL ROUTES, the thing is flight ticket might be cheap, but you know the real cost of traveling is paying for the hotels? Say, you pay for a 300 dollars flight ticket to Rome, but you have any idea how much a night stay in Rome Hotels cost? You know you won't travel half way around the globe just to be in Europe for a day. So throw in the cost of having to stay in Dublin Hotels and London Hotels, that getaway sure going to cost you an arm and a leg.

Just a little advise from me, advance hotel booking saves you a lot of money and it's much cheaper than those walk-in customers rate. And especially in popular tourist spots like Paris where Hotels Paris are always fully-booked, you must always plan your trip, there's totally no point of traveling when you can get cheap flight tickets but ended up with no place to stay.

To Paris I want to go

We've been talking about going on a Paris trip since we first started dating, Now, 7 years later, we still haven't been there together. Hubby used to travel a lot to Europe for his business trip alone, he always chose to hire a car so that he can drive around France, given that it is easy to drive around because they have one of the world's most systematic driving system, and highways that takes you anywhere you want to go. Oh remember, France drives on the right side of the road.

On most trips, hubby never booked his hotel rooms in advance because like he said, Paris Hôtels are aplenty, and furthermore, it is more convenient to stay in hotels that catered to road travellers like him. Besides that, you'll be surpised that such hotels like Toulouse Hôtels and Marseilles Hôtels offers very affordable rates. I've been there once, and given that that was the first time we were in France, we did advanced booking on our Bordeaux Hôtels, because none of us dare to risk sleeping on the streets. If only I knew hubby back then. Nevermind. We'll go there again sometimes.

The high flying job

I asked my cousin who did she quit her job as an air stewardess, and her answer is very straightforward. She said, "I cannot fly forever, one day down the road, she'll get kick and be stationed as a ground staff. So she'd rather quit now and start a career with a promising future. I understand. Over the years, she traveled to so many places others can only dream of. You name it, and chances are high that she've been there. The most enjoyable part of being an air stewardess is of course the chance to travel around the world and stay in those exotic Hotels in Venice or places like Madrid Hotels. It's every shopaholic's dream to go shopping in Milan, and of course, being an air stewardess saves you the money of having to pay for the accomodation in Milan Hotels yourself. So you tell me, how enjoyable an air stewardess life can be? Free flight, free stay no matter where you go, and you actually get paid doing it. Who cares if travelling to Barcelona is expensive, they still get to stay in those luxury rooms Barcelona Hotels has to offer.

Cruises, don't you just love them?

I can dream about Titanic a thousand times, but the truth is I've never ever been on a cruise. Yeap, you read me right. Not on a tiny one, or a huge one like the Royal Caribbean. I can only imagine how much fun it is to be on one, to sail through the big deep blue ocean, inside one giant cruise. There's so much to do than just taking glances at the sea view, imagine rock climbing, ice skating when you're in the middle of the Carribean sea. Coolness.

If hubby has a week or two free off his busy schedule, I think it'll be nice for us to chill out together on a Princess Cruises. Imagine seeing the ice towers and dog sledding adventures of Alaska or get to a dozen more destinations when we do stop over at big cities with exotic beaches, unforgettable shopping trip and sightseeing. No jet lag so whatever, this is going to be an experience of a lifetime. It gets me all excited just thinking about it. Oh, the ever flowing buffet to bloat you up while you're on the Norwegian Cruise Lines, you can bet you'll be half a stone heavier when you're done seeing the whole. But then again, it'll be worth the trip. LOL.

Cramps is getting up my head!

Right now, my mood and my period cramp is making me feel like a very sick cat. And my legs, it's like I could hang them high up in the ceiling, they are just so sore. I don't mind being jet away for a weekend in any Paris Hotels. Now, yes now. A little request though, a Hotel Paris with a view of Eiffel Tower, you know I need something to ease my cramps! A beautiful scenery won't hurt. Fantastic, Paris bed and breakfast and a shopping trip, I bet everything will be fine when I get up in the morning.Well, probably it's now way past bed time, and I'm half way to my dreamland. Good night for now.

Rent a car to explore the best of Hawaii

In my opinion, one of the biggest enjoyment when it comes to vacation is the freedom to explore. Which is why I dislike going on a holiday with a tour group where everything is fixed and has to be on schedule. You hardly get to explore the place by yourself, to me, this defeat the purpose of a holiday.

If you ever get to Hawaii, note that it's best that you get a car from the Hawaii Car Rental, hands down the cheapest car rental service in Hawaii. You can pick up your car at the airport so it saves you all the hassle of having to get a cab to your hotel. Not only that, with Hawaii Car Rental you don't pay until you arrive in Hawaii, so in case you cancel your trip at the very last minute, you don't have to worry about the forfeit. Even without upfront deposit, upon booking, you receive a Confirmation # without Creditcard Payment.

Best of all,
they charge No Fee for Young Drivers. So remember, the next time you're in Hawaii, get your car from Hawaii Car Rental.

We're taking a break

We'll be going home to our hometown for Cheng Beng -Chinese All Souls Day. Not that we're superstitious people who worship our ancestor, but during cheng beng is a time when we remember those people who were once in our life. A day of remembrance.

Besides that, we'll be spending time with our family back home. Not forgetting the delicious food we can eat. Yummy.

When are we going exactly?

Since Marcus was a little boy, say 2 years old, he has been begging his mom to bring him to Disneyland. His mother promised him that they'll go, only when Shern is old enough to walk by himself. That time, Shern was just a newborn baby. So on Marcus behalf, it's all about the waiting. For years.

Shern is not only walking now, he runs, he climbs, he wrestles too with Marcus, but we have yet to bring the kids there. Maybe when during the school holidays, because Marcus is now attending school, we cannot just scout off whenever we feel like it. Do you know that even during holiday seasons, you can get Discount Walt Disney World Tickets, only if you know where to find them.

Bringing toddler to a holiday, yes or no?

It's been forever since we go for a holiday as a family, just the three of us. Most people will think that bringing a toddler on a holiday is full of hassle. On the other hand, a toddler is too young to know how to enjoy a holiday, for fussing about is what they do best at the age of two.

But I think otherwise. Our little boy is very alert to his surrounding, he could even remember the time when he was a year and a half, when we brought him to Perth for a holiday. He remembers the kangaroo and the koala bears. Besides, bringing a toddler together can sure make us bond better. Maybe this is the right time to go on a holiday. I'm thinking Las Vegas, oh I found really good deals on the Las Vegas Hotels.

It's a fat holiday

I haven't been blogging a lot for the past few days, that's because we went rallying. With hubs. Our weekend are spent in a small town where the food is so bad, you keep getting hungry. Sounds weird I know, but it's true. Your appetite makes you crave for more food, more delicious food.

Back home, the scale is no longer working. I'm now desperate to weigh myself. I can feel my body has more fats now than before. Sigh.

Hidden Beach only for nudist

Every once in a while, every couple needs some time to be away from their normal life routine, to keep the romance alive. Especially for those parents with kids, or either partner with a hectic work schedule, they hardly have time for each other.

I personally think a relationship requires maintenance, as in efforts has to be made to make each other feel loved and needed. Take a week off work, hand the kids to the nanny or even a trust worthy baby sitter, and jet off to a Cancun Vacation. Imagine relaxing in the heart of Hidden Beach Resort Au Natural Club that caters to nudists, be treated like a king and queen with their 24 hours service. It sure will be an out of the world experience.

If I get to go...

My aunties and uncles will be going on a family trip to China this coming May, but I won't be going with them. Well, I've been to China many times enough to know how the entire China looks like. It'll be more or less the same, might be worst in some rural areas, with toilets with no doors. I used to go to China a lot when hubs rally there for the China team.

Hopefully, my next vacation plan will be one of the western country namely the UK or US. My hubs promised me a Europe trip long long time ago but I'm not very sure if he's free to bring me yet. I would love to visit my friend in New York, if I get to apply for the US visa. You see, I'm a stay-at-home mom with no income, I might not meet the least of the criterias post by the immigration.

But if I get to go, I really need to plan my trip well, that includes saving on my travelling expediture, booking of New York Hotel, get one of those guaranteed nice and lowest in price hotel. In that case, I'll have more money to go shop till I drop. Brilliant idea isn't it?

I'm somewhere else

It's quite late now. 1.52 am to be exact. I'm now blogging from my twin sister's laptop, which simply means I'm at hers. In Singapore. Tomorrow's going to be a great day i know, with lotsa shopping and lotsa food. Now, who doesn't love a break? A break from your normal routine, from your home and take it easy somewhere else.

You have a great weekend ahead. Enjoy.

Cheer Up, Hubs

So, I've been thinking of taking a break. My hubby is just so stressed up lately, and I just don't know how to cheer him up. His work is piled up to his head, i wished i could just pick up the phone and booked a New Zealand Hotels, fly us there on the next available flight. Ouch, wait a minute. What's worse than a bad holiday? I should really plan a holiday where Hubs could relax and de-stress. Perhaps it's best to book one of the Auckland Hotels near to the city centre, where I should shop and Hubs could chill out in our hotel room. See that pic? That's exactly what I've been dreaming. A nice bedroom view of the yatch harbour.

I've never been to Christchurch, maybe it's good to check out the special offers they have for
Christchurch Hotels. Cannot deny that room package can save us a lot of money, I rather splash it on dining. But Chinese New Year is only a week away, I cannot make any plans for now. We'll be home to granny's for the New Year. Auckland or Wellington Hotels can sure wait. New Year is the best gathering of the year, we're not going to miss it. No way.

loving the green grass over there

one thing people from my country loves to do is to migrate overseas especially to Australia. like the grass is greener on the other side of the world. but truly, with the nice weather you get there, the grass is indeed much greener. well, these rich people travels around the world many times a year, spend their kids mid term school holidays abroad for weeks or maybe months, they can afford to stay in any Gold Coast Hotels they love, settle for nothing lesser than 5 stars hotel.

when these people retires, most of them will consider migrating to places like Gold Coast and Noosa because life there is much simplier, everyone's life is nice and easy. forget the hustle and bustle of the crazy metropolitan like Kuala Lumpur. even driving around Australia is so stress free. no road bullies and no one beats the red light. as our local driving license allows us to drive in Australia, most tourist will rent a car and drive around by themselves.

No wonder every holiday season, hotels in Australia are always fully booked, especially for places of tourist attractions such as Cairns Hotels and Noosa Hotels.
