Sew Sew
Another tag for a swap I am in and an entry to Creative Chemistry 101 challenge and the Three Muses Challenge
My background was created using Barn Door Distress Ink and the Spritz and Flick technique.I then stamped the buttons, I made the stamp using foam in my Vagabond
The manequin and, button and cotton reel were cut on my Vagabond using the Sewing Room Die they were inked and the added with foam squares. I used Picket Fence Crackle Paint on the "wooden" bits of the mannequin and put thread around the bobbin leading too a needle. I stitched on the button added some wording that I cut from an old dictioery and finished off by threading ribbon through the top and attaching a scissors charm with a small safety pin
Time
This tag is both for a swap I am hosting on the Lotstodo forum and an entry into the Creative Chemistry 101 challenge.
I put my tag through my Vagabond in an embossing folder - then inked it with Distress Inks and splashed a little water on it. I then distressed the edges and inked them, The "watch" and chain were made up of parts - the background in the watch was cut from Tims paper stack - I then added a spinner with a brad and filled it with Glossy Accents - the outer part I just found in my bits drawer. I attached the chain with rings and then threaded some inked string through the eyelet. The quote was stamped in Archival ink and then grunged up a bit. The quote is from Tims Visual Artistry Collection
