Lotstodo - challenge - Canvas
I created this canvas for the Lotstodo Challenge and a swap on the Lotstodo Forum - I started by covering it with a dress pattern and adding piece of torn paper. I then added some stamped tissue, texture paint and a bit of colour. Next came the seed beads and washers covered with micaceous iron oxide. I distressed some leftover pieces of grungeboard and added them to the corners. The lettering came next - I used dabbers to colour them then added a bit of embossing powder to each one. To finish off I painted the outer edge with black gesso and added some wording.
This one is going to Sam - hope she likes it

Middle two - added a bit of reinker and played !!!
Bottom 2 - put paste through stencil - used promarkers to colour in

Alcohol Inks and PVA
I followed Jenny (Artistic Stamper)s tutorial to create the backgrounds for these atc's. Smoothed on PVA with spatula - dropped alcohol inks here and there and let it do its own thing. Love the outcome
I finished my atc.s by stamping on acetate, adding bits and bobs and a few rubons

Grungeboard Watch straps
I've been waiting ages to get hold of some Hitch Fasteners to be able to follow Sheena Douglas's instructions and make new straps for my watches. I put the grunge board through big shot in embossing folders - inked with distress inks and then added the fasteners - love em and am looking forward now to making more
The top one is my favourite Dolce Gabbana watch that George bought me in Italy and the bottom one a Kickers watch that my sister bought me.
The new straps are really comfortable

Lotstodo - challenge - Backgrounds
I collaged my background on to shaped chipboard - I then inked with Vintage Paper and Fired Brick Distress Inks. I stamped my image (Tim Holtz)with stazon on to tissue paper and added it with beeswax. I then cut my tag out of grunge paper and using CropoDile added eyelet - I inked it and then added my metal charm I fixed it to my piece with a brad. I finished off by adding a Tim Holt question mark and putting eyelets in to the top through which I threaded and beaded some cord.

Altered Shrine
This is the shrine that Graeme made me at Christmastime and oh how I've enjoyed altering it. I started by base coats of gesso then added the crackle which I'm pleased to say created a gorgeous background. I then set to collaging it adding all sorts of bits and pieces - my main angel image is from Dezinaworld - my stamping was done with stazon and my faux porcelain flower done with my melt pot. if you click on each picture you will be able to see the texture more clearly
