CHOCOLATE at LIVE AND LOVE CRAFTS

Hi everyone

I am here to share a card today which I made just because I felt like it.  It is such a long time since I have done this. I loved making this card too.  Well, who would not, when you think of the combination of Chocolate, Live and Live Crafts and Shabby Chic!  What more could a girl ask for!  And working with lovely materials, well that was just the icing on the cake.  Actually there is a little story to this one, and I will keep this very brief:

I had severe lack of mojo.  Inspiration was just zilch.  Then I saw the Challenge at LLC, and it suddenly came to me to get my lovely goodies out  from Live and Live Crafts and play.  I keep these together in two boxes (one for papers and one for embellishments).  Actually two bags as well!  Well, this is what got me going again.  I think old Mojo had gone on strike and was saying 'its time to use these lovely materials' Haha.  I must admit I am chuffed with this card and it really has inspired me no end to keep going.

So, onto the card:

The lovely topper is from Kraftyhands (frantage added)
Tim Holtz die-cut (Frantage added)
The papers, shabby ribbon, hearts, charm, Frantage and  flowers and pleated ribbon (just seen peeping through at the top left and right ) are all from Live and Love Crafts
Everything else is from my stash.

I would of course like to enter it into the Challenge HERE at Live and Love Crafts where the theme is entitled 'Chocolate'

Thanks for looking,

Judy x

DEMO DAY

Hi everyone,

Well, it has been a busy week here for me but I really wanted to share with you some cards I made for a Demo I did for our local Craft Shop.  I had not done this before so was very nervous and it will come as no surprise to you all that when I got home I added more embellishments etc to each card! lol  Well I just could not help myself.  I tried to focus on basics really, so in my eyes they did need some extra finishing touches to make them my style.  I used a mixture of toppers, all very lovely so I will try and share the links where I am able to.  Of course, if you are passing 'Whitby Crafts' then you will find them in there too.

Michele at Whitby Crafts has intoruced me to the Pinflair Gel Glue, and oh my! I must say I love it for sticking our lovely embellishments, ribbon bows, flowers, buttons etc.  I have done a search of Google and found a link here http://www.joannasheen.com/craft-supplies/glues-and-sticky-things/pinflair-glues/pinflair-glue-gel-kit-includes-syringe-and-dispensing-key/

So, onto the cards:

Using Cardmaker's Delights Toppers available on Amazon here http://www.amazon.co.uk/s?ie=UTF8&field-keywords=Cardmaker%27s+Delights

and using Hobby House Toppers created by Sylvia Zet: http://sylviazet.blogspot.co.uk/
There are links to the left of the Blog where the stamps, digis and toppers can be obtained.

and finally using Krafty Hands Toppers  http://www.kraftyhandsonline.co.uk/webshop/
I have spotted a link to their Blog too:  http://kraftyhands.blogspot.co.uk/

So, that was my day on Tuesday!  AND I have been asked my Michele to do another one on Tuesday May 13th so if you are in the area do pop in and say hello.

As always, thanks for looking and have a really lovely weekend,

Judy x

ps.  I just have a couple of links to add to this post which Tracy at Cardmaking Delights has just very kindly sent me.  She has added some of my cards to her pages.  Thanks Tracy!
