Here is the blog hop order

So, onto my card.  I tried a different shape, as you know I love doing this.  I must admit I really like this shape and will be making more of these for sure.   I saw the idea on one of the Blogs and went ahead and played around creating my own version.  The three tags are made from Vintage Toppers from Cardmaker's Delights , flowers from Wild Orkchid Crafts and I have machine stitched around the edges.

Scoring Guidelines:

One sheet of A4 card.  I scored at  2inch,  4 inch,  6inch,  8 inch and  9.75

The squares turned to represent a diamond shape measure 3.25 inches suare, 3.5 inches square and 3.75inches suare.  I then made pockets to cover the bases and embellished.

.

I do hope you have time to pop over and take a look at the very talented Design Team's work on the Fussy and Fancy  blog and take part in the hop.  It is a fabulous Challenge, it would be great if you could join in.

As always, thanks for looking, and have a great day!

SHABBY CHIC/BEAUTIFUL BORDERS

Hi everyone,

WOW what lovely weather we are having in the UK at the moment.  I really do need a nice breeze for me to enjoy it but I will not complain.

I am here tonight with a card to share which I made for the Challenge at Cheery Lynn using a selection of their dies, including a lovely border die called 'Anastasia'  I have not used the border cut itself, but the piece that is left after cutting it.  I was so chuffed when I realised I could use these offcuts instead of throwing them out.  In addition there are several other dies, including doily dies etc.

The lovely Vintage cat image is again from Cardmaking Delights.  I am really loving these images, they make great toppers but also great tags too.  Here are the links incase you want to go off on a hunt for them:

VINTAGE STITCHING

Hi everyone,

I am here tonight to share a card I made to play along at the Cheery Lynn Blog Challenge and at the same time play with my new Vintage toppers which arrived so quickly from a lovely EBay lady called Tracy.  This will be the first of several cards I am making using Tracy's toppers.  They are such lovely quality, I am sure they are printed professionally and not printed off as the finish is superb.  These toppers are great used as tags too, and I have so many ideas floating in my mind that I just did not know which to do first.  Well, I just had to turn to the Shabby Chic style which I am so loving at the moment.  Here are the links  to Tracey's EBay Shop and Website incase you are interested:

I cut up a Cheery Lynn 'Daisy Lace Frame' die-cut to form the right border, I  have layered Cheery Lynn die-cut doilies behind the image and also centralised another die-cut doiley inside the card.  The circle sentiment I cut by hand.

The lovely papers are from Live and Love Crafts  and everything else is from my stash.

I would like to enter this into the following Challenge:

Cheery Lynhn Challenge - In Stitches

Well, whilst the rest of the Country have been having lovely sunny weather these last two days have been quite cold and no sunshine at all here on the North East Coast.  Tomorrow must be our turn!

Thank you for looking, and also for your lovely comments, I do so appreciate these!
