2011 Calendars

Wahoo!!! It is Friday.

Well as promised, I have 2011 calendar files available for purchase again. I make so many of them for gifts and to sell that I need a good amount of time to get started on them. Here is one set I made the other day. I am not sure they are the final version yet but it is a good start.

These calendars fit into a mini CD holder that is about 3.5" square and are perfect for setting on your desk. Teachers love them. They make wonderful stocking stuffers.

Since I spend a good amount of time creating these files, I figure I might as well make them available and perhaps save you some time. Here are the deets...

-The download includes 5 PDF files, 1 file with the calendar cover, 3 files with 4 months on a page and 1 file with cutting instructions.
-I print mine onto Stampin' Up White or Vanilla
-cost is $3.00
-I use mini CD cases from this place. Since shipping can be high, I recommend you buy enough to last awhile or share with a friend. You might also search ebay for smaller quantities.
-don't limit yourself to the CD cases, you can make calendars on coasters too!
-I have a "calendar" category on my side bar that will link you to my previous calendar posts for more inspiration.

After adding the download to your cart you will be directed to Paypal to complete your transaction. Now, if I did this right (a BIG "if") you should be automatically directed to the download when you are done paying.

Happy creating!!

Calendar Fun

It is time to work on my annual CD calendars again. I began making these 5 or 6 years ago and now have customers who come back each year to buy them as stocking stuffers or teacher gifts. I have a craft show coming up next weekend so I have been busy stamping some up for the sale. They are actually mini CD cases and the size is perfect for putting onto a desk.

This set is one I made for myself and has more coloring involved than the ones I mass produce. All but one of the images I used came from Unity Stamps. I have several of their monthly kits and I had so much fun choosing my images. Any coloring done was with Copics.

Do you want to create your own? I am making the calendar files available for sale again this year. Here's what you need to know...
-the files come in 4 pdf files, 1 with the cover and 3 with 4 months per page.
-print them onto the paper of your choice (I used SU's whisper white or very vanilla)
-I include directions for cutting them to size
-cost is $3.00
-email me with the link in my sidebar and I will send you a Paypal invoice. Once payment is received, I will email the files.
-the mini CD's I use come from here. (shipping is what gets costly so I purchase 200 a a time and have them for several years, or find a friend to share the order)
-They also work well with square coasters, see this post for more on that.
-here is last years calendar for more inspiration
It's time to get ready for church. Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog!

Calendar Time!

Several times last year I missed important birthdays! One of the reasons, I finally discovered, was that I haven't been keeping my calendars like I used to. I don't know why I moved away from my routine especially since it was working for me...call me a knucklehead, lol. But I have a fresh start this year.
One of the calendars I have kept for years, is this mini CD version that always sat by the computer. (I make new ones each year, of course) I also make them to give and sell every year and have made more 2009 calendars than any other previous year. I have been cranking these out for 3 months now and thought it was time to post them.
They fit into a mini CD case where the lid folds back to act like an easel. I order them in bulk from this site. I really like their compact size, the inserts are 3 1/2" by 3 5/8". The shipping can more than double the order so I get a couple hundred at a time.
I print the calendar up onto Stampin' Up's whisper white and all 13 pieces fit into the case. These make perfect little gifts to give and I have repeat customers looking for their refills each year. Since I mass produce them, I chose my stamps carefully and usually do not go with images that require much coloring. I think this years images combine to make my favorite calendar to date. Most of the images are SU, with a CHF and some dollar stamps thrown in.

It is not too late to create your own 2009 calendar!
If you are interested in purchasing a copy of my inserts, I am making them available for $2.99. I will email out the JPEG files which you can print directly at home. There are 4 files in total, one is the cover and the other 3 are the months. I will also give you my cutting instructions to fit the mini case.
I also have a limited number of calendars with cases, pre-cut and un-stamped, that I can send out. Those are $5.00 plus shipping.
If you are interested, email me and I can send out a Paypal invoice.
Have a great day and thanks for visiting!

Coaster Fun

This was my shoebox project on Saturday. It doesn't involve much stamping but is a fun project for a stamp camp or to give as a gift. I had several of these calendars left from Stamponthis
so that is where it started. The designer paper is from SU's Sell A Bration scrap kit as is the ric rac sticker. The white clip is a Making Memories accessory and the flowers are Bazzil. We used the spiral punch on the striped paper, the Crop o dile to punch through the coasters and rose grosgrain ribbon to attach the two sides. The N is from Headline Alpha and is stamped in regal rose craft ink and the Daily Notes is from the Office Accoutrement set. I had several colors of flowers and clips as well as different stickers from the scrap kit so they all looked a little different.
Gotta make it a quickie today, much to do....blessings on your day!
