Hello,...-and Goodbye....

Hi there dear Inkido friends, it's Bente here!
It's with a heavy heart I write this post because it will be my last one here on the Inkido blog and as part of the Inkido DT. I have new adventures on the horizon, but that does not mean I'm not sad to see Inkido close down. Inkido/Papercraft Scandinavia has been part of the Scandinavian scene for around eight years and will surely be missed!

I have made a card that says Hello, when it should really say Goodbye, but hopefully there will be many more chances for all of us to meet in many other places in the vast cyberspace.

And here are a coupole of close ups of my card:

I used the latest and last collection Spring Time for this page and combined with some older papers.

That's all from me!
From now you can find me on my own blog or we will meet somewhere else in cyberspace!
Thank you for your support of Inkido and our design team.
I hope we'll meet again soon!
Hugs!!

Milan Trip

Hello again.
I am back with a new page using the Beautiful Memories collections.

The picture is from a trip we made to wonderful Milan a few years back taken in front of the impressing Milan Cathedral. So many beautiful things to see around the Plaza and so many great coffees to be had :-)

And here are some close ups for you:

I made some different flowers using my favourite flower die and one of the pretty Inkido papers.

I used my border punches to give the papers  and layers an even more feminine expression.

Here you can see how well these papers go together. The colours are so soft and gorgeous.

Thanks for dropping by and thanks for looking. I hope you like my Milan page :-)

Products used:

Summer LO by Agnieszka Bellaidea

Hi!
It's Bellaidea today with a new project from an older collection.

You can still find these papers in many shops with Inkido products!
I did some stitching, embossing and stamping here.
Fussy cutting and small chipboards add more layers.
Another Inkido stamp with red embossing.
Did you linked already your project to our challenge in May? :)

GD Carla!

Hi!
It's time for a new GDT today.
Do you know Carla?
I think you do but if not here is some info about her;

·

I'm Carla Marchee and I am 41 years old. I live in  the Netherlands, together with my husband Marcel
and my two children. I am blessed to have two sons: one is 10 years old and the other one is 13.
I am a scrapaholic!! I love everything about this hobby...the fact that I am preserving precious memories, and love photography.
Seven years ago I started scrapbooking after reading about this hobby on the internet. I was hooked immediately: I have always loved to work with pictures and making picture off my boy's and had several other hobby's but scrapbooking became my passion.
             .
I love the paper with flower designs and what a pleasure  is to cut, tear and distress papers.  I do also use flowers on boy's layouts, because I definitely think that should be OK for a boy .I always try to improve my work, I try to invent new techniques and new ways to get the details even better.
Presently I am on the Designteam  My Creative Scrapbook

GD Shona

Hi!
It's Bellaidea today.
You know it's d day we introduce you our Guest. I don't think Shona really need introduction. We all love what she makes!

My name is Shona Keehn and I am from British Columbia, Canada. I have 3 children, lots of grand babies and a wonderful husband of 27 years. I am thrilled to be a guest at Inkido and would like to thank you for the opportunity to work with your yummy products.

I have been scrapping for many years but have just found my scrappy style in the last couple of years, Shabby Chic with a bit of grunge, and it is definitely something that I change up lots. I am always trying new techniques, and experimenting on chipboard pieces is one of them. I love to start with palettes and sketches. I find it amazing all the variations from just one starting point.

I get so much inspiration from everyone in the scrapping world and I hope that you can get some from me.

Blog.

I know...
Amazing talent!
Thank you so much Shona for your beautiful projects with Inkido!

All Smile

My youngest nephew just turned 1 last April and he is growing up way too fast.  He loved to smile for the camera and even if when  he is irritated and  he sees a camera on him,  he will flash his sweetest smile.

a close up on the handmade flowers using the inkido papers with the inkido blooms and metal embellishment:

I used a scallop puncher and cut a slit to make the flowers.  I just added button and thread to finish it.

Thanks for visiting!
Hugs, Jona

Simply Handmade Flowers

For this lay-out,  I made handmade flower from the Granjul line and used the Tuva paper as my background.

Here's a close up on the handmade flowers.  I cut a circle patterned paper and cut a strip through the circle  until the end - creating a spiral loop.  I then rolled it and glued it in a smaller circle to create my flower and topped it with a rose flower from inkido.

Happy halloween!
