Do not open until Christmas by SGD Christin G

I am in a Christmas mood lately, and I can honestly say that is has never happened this early. This weekend I started Christmas shopping - well, that is Christin window shopping. I went around the stores with my Iphone and took a lot of pictures to put on our Christmas wish list.  No gifts, put I did buy new Christmas decorations. Last year I started a new job a month before Christmas and Christmas decorating wasn't part of my priorities, so this year I have started early.   So while in Christmas spirit, I have made a Christmas layout with pictures from last year - from Christmas Eve morning where the kids in their PJs were allowed to open one big present each.

Published Layout!

I was asked to draw a layout sketch for the Swedish magazine Inzpira for some time ago. The readers get to create after it also and some of them gets published in the magazine. This is the page I created after my own sketch. It was also published. I have used papers, lace, rhinestones, pins and some flowers from Inkido.

The theme for this issue was fairytales or "sagor" in Swedish. My page is about Viggo reading a book outside on the porch. I love reading and try my best to establish that interest with Viggo.

I I draped some sewing thread over my flower clusters.

The big brown flower was original beige but I misted it brown.

Look how beatiful the Cherryblossom, Rose and the large Rhinestone are together!
