DL.ART Thankful Thursday #218 ~ Christmas

Happy Thursday!! Are you all running around, trying to get ready for Christmas as much as I am??!! Sheesh, it's coming so fast!! It's time for a new Thankful Thursday Challenge at DL.ART and the theme this week is Christmas...or you could always substitute a Thank You card. If you used the code LF222, Diana will give you a 10% to shop at DL.ART!!

For my cards, I had to use this new CottageCutz Christmas Trailer Camping die. My family has camped all my life and now my parents have an RV, but I still couldn't resist this adorable die :)

The snowman, elf and the snow bank all come with the die. I added glitter to the snow for some shimmery sparkle.

This beautiful ribbon is Christmas Red from the Traditional Christmas Bundle. I also used Red Twine from Diana's shop.

This beautiful ribbon is Christmas Green from the Traditional Christmas Bundle. The tag and sentiment are from My Craft Spot (no longer in business).

I am entering these in the following challenges:

1) Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge - Christmas
2) Word Art Wednesday - Anything Goes
3) Jo's Scrap Shack Funday Friday - Anything Goes

Look who wanted to be in the picture with the card...it's my sweet elf friend, Faith!! For those of you who remember Faith, she was sent to me by my dear friend, Diana :) For my new followers, you can meet Faith HERE and HERE.

Faith and Sammy are still going strong...so serious, in fact, they decided to adopt a pet together!! This is Rocky...they brought him home from Rocky Mountain National Park earlier this year :) I'm linking this up with Diana's Elf Antics!!

Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a great day :)

Faith and Merry Christmas :)

Happy Christmas Eve!! I hope you are all ready for Santa to visit tonight!! I had hoped to have more antics with my sweet elf friend Faith to share with you, but she has been otherwise occupied. As I was giving her a tour of my parents' RV, she met their RV mascot Sammy and...

...fell in love!! They have been inseparable since!!

Sammy wooed her...instead of a dozen roses, he gifted her with a beautiful Christmas poinsettia in honor of the season :)

They made googly eyes at each other as they shared a milkshake in front of the Christmas tree.

He then took her to view the Nativity...remembering the reason for the season :)

Faith loves to ice skate, so Sammy took her to Rockefeller Center...well as close as you can get without leaving Indiana ;)

It was such a beautiful day yesterday...in the 50's...so Sammy decided to take her on a bike ride!!

OH NO!! A mountain lion!!

Oh, wait, it's just my sweet kitty, Calypso :) (she is so not impressed with my elf antics ;)

They ended their whirlwind date with a glass of wine by the fire :) So it looks like Faith will be taking to the road next year with Sammy in the RV!! Stay tuned for on-the-road adventures!! I'm linking this up with Diana's Elf Antics!!

I want to wish you all the most wonderful, happy holiday season!! And may 2015 bring you much love, happiness and many, many blessings!! Hugs!!

Meet Faith!!

Happy Saturday!! I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!! I have someone special I want you to meet!! This is Faith...

Faith was sent to me by my dear friend Diana of Dl.Art, and her elf friend, Hope. Faith made the long trip from warm California to the chilly temps of Indiana...she didn't complain, but I don't know that I would have been so nice ;) The first thing she wanted to do was pierce her ears, so she is sporting some fashionable diamond studs ;)

Next, Faith wanted to pen a note to her Cali friends to let them know she arrived safely. So she commandeered my laptop and typed out a quick note.

As I was giving her the tour of our craft room, she couldn't wait to play with my new Explore, so she ran over to turn it on.

But soon her long travels took their toll and she was exhausted. So I set her up in the barcalounger with some homemade Chex mix and the remote and she was one happy elf :)

Stay tuned for more elf adventures with Faith!! Thank you again, Diana and Hope!! I'm linking this up with Diana's Elf Antics Linky Party.

Have a wonderful weekend :)
