inamorata second remaster version

This comes from a Swedish radio broadcast of a great live performance of music from the “Opus Apus” CD (LJ Records LJCD 5212, 1996). I picked it up on dimeadozen.org in 2012 and posted a remastered version there in 2016. In December 2020 I made a new version which, I think, sounds quite nice given the difficult source material. For information on the editing and remastering see the info file.

This is improvised music and I find it difficult to identify compositions. Except for trach 02, I’m not sure if I got it right (and if my guess concerning the Swedish outro is right the announcer disagrees with my identification of track 03).

The Opus Apus CD may still be available at the JL Records website (http://www.lj-records.se/). At any rate, a digital download can be purchased at Gustafsson’s Bandcamp site (https://matsgustafsson.bandcamp.com/album/opus-apus). Highly recommended!

EVANS - FERNÁNDEZ - GUSTAFSSON (EFG TRIO) "MUNICH 2012"

This was an excellent concert - and the music was quite different than what I've expected from their CD "Kopros Lithos" (you can get the CD here or there but also in downtown). More "subdued" but not less fascinating - maybe the music for an excellent SF (i know that's a rare species).
The concert and the three were a real fun to behold - haven't heard the recording yet, as I prefer to cherish my memories as long as possible - but you've missed it. So here's it for you.
Enjoy!

THE TOO MUCH TOO SOON ORCHESTRA "SAW" (RADIUM, 1988)

Here's another early Dror Feiler recording. Once again with Sören Runolf on cello and with the then 24 years old Mats Gustafsson for the first time. This is Mats Gustafsson's second recording!?
Again there is an "Industrial" feeling within the music.
But it's not only an onslaught as one is tempted to believe given the machines which are used.
Rather a "poésie machine" is prevailing - albeight without "mercy".
