Mark E. Rappaport addd some more information about this gig in the comments a bit downstream.: "Ned Rothenberg played three successive nights at the Shinjuku Pit Inn in Tokyo from March 3 to 5, 2006. Day 1 featured Ned (alto saxophone, clarinet, bass clarinet, shakuhachi) with Masahiko Satoh (piano) and Yuji Takahashi (piano, laptop). I would guess this recording is from that gig."

But I was wrong. How come I had this 'false memory' I don't know but now I'm almost 100% sure that I got this rip from Nick already five years ago....

HELEN MERRILL with the GARY PEACOCK TRIO "S'POSIN" (VICTOR/STORYVILLE, 1971)
The great Helen Merrill's most challenging, outer worldly record ever, featuring loose, free highly textured arrangements by Masahiko Sato and Peacock, recorded just 4 months before the epochal "Samadhi' by the trio...
This also features a touching version of Ellington's 'In a sentimental mood' which is so obviously Gary Peacock's very moving tribute to Jimmy Blanton... beautiful oh so beautiful, painfully so..
Only reissued on Cd in Japan and out of print to the best of my knowledge ..
This rip is taken from the early 70's Storyville LP ..
Helen Merrill is as far as i know still recording...and well worth supporting !
she has a website here
ENJOY!!!!

MASAHIKO TOGASHI & INTER-ACTION – INTER-ACTION: LIVE AT HALL EGG FARM ON DECEMBER 9, 1995 (TAKE ONE RECORDS, 1996)
Masahiko Togashi's first professional performance was in 1955 and his first recording in 1957. Over the next couple of weeks I have a few albums to share from a series of 40th anniversary live concerts recorded in 1995. The first is with his long time collaborators, Masahiko Sato on piano and Nouyoshi Ino, on bass. On saxophone is Junji Hirose, who is probably best known outside Japan for his work with Otomo Yoshihide in Ground-Zero.
Togashi did the cover painting too.
