VLVNovemberWk1: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello dear blogging friends!. Popping in with my Viva la Verve card for this week. This is the one for the VLV  November Week 1 sketch.

(A2; Stamps: Verve (I think this was a freebie); DSP: MME; Die cut: Cameo

I pretty much followed the sketch, but instead of a bow, I made an ornament out of regular white card stock then heat embossed with red glitter EP several times. I added some DSP and vellum behind it and added a bit of gold Stickles. I used a punch to make the greenery and enamel dots for the berries. I hope you like the results!

MM403: FEEL BETTER SOON

Hi dear friends!  It is Wednesday and I am just getting my Mojo Monday card posted! Here is what I came up with for this week’s sketch:

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Hope Bloomes); Die:Li’l Inker Designs; DSP: Graphic 45)

My mom is now 82 and still loves to work in her garden. Well this weekend she fell and broke her left wrist. Not only did she break it, she reset it! What a woman!!! Well, I wanted to send her something to brighten her day so I made this card for her. Instead of the circle I used a heart and some of that yummy Golden Glam Shaker Mix from Verve.

Thank you so much for stopping by today!

MM373: SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER

Hello  friends! I have a quick post today to share my card  for the Mojo Monday challenge:

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Santa's Helper); Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; DSP: MME (Vintage Christmas)

I colored this little guy with Copics and fussy cut leaving off the little hind legs and clipping up by the arms so he could hold the sentiment. Went with vintage papers and distressing on this one.

Thank you so much for stopping by my blog today!  I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving tomorrow!!!

GREAT IMPRESSIONS INSPIRATION SATURDAY

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! Welcome back for more inspiration from the Great Impressions store!

Today is the fourth Saturday (YIKES! Thanksgiving is next week!) and our GI monthly challenge is in full swing, so you still have time to join in!  Today, I thought I would try to trigger your Christmas spirit with a some more Christmas cheer!

(A2: Stamps: Great Impressions Stamps (Vintage Merry Christmas - D469); Cut files: Silhouette Studio; EF: StampinUp!)

I decided to go vintage this week. I just love this vintage sentiment from Great Impressions and paired it with vintage papers and cut files. The sentiment is stamped on a double-sided paper and cut using a tag cut file with a little folded top.

Thanks so much for stopping by for a bit of inspiration from Great Impressions.

VLVOctWk2: MERRY CHRISTMAS

Hello crafty friends. What a week! I have had very little crafting time so I was thrilled to get in my craft room today! I have two cards to share with the first one for the Viva la Verve week 2 sketch:

(A2: Stamps: Verve (Merry Christmas); DSP: Whimsy Stamps (Vintage Christmas); Die: Spellbinders; EF: StampinUp!; Ribbon: Really Reasonable Ribbon; Cut File: Silhouette Studio)

I don’t know why this sketch gave me problems, but this is the second card I made and I like it much better than the first one! For the background, I cut a circle in white card stock and dry embossed with the StampinUp EF. I used DI to add a little vintage color to it. I cut a frame from green card stock to go around the circle I cut in the background and added the paper with December 25th behind the background. The banner is a cut file from Silhouette Studio. I glued the banners to the strip and stitched onto the card background.  The bow is a “faux bow”. I just stitched the middle so it would lie flat for the flower to go on top. The sentiment is from Verve, and I believe it was a freebie that came with a purchase. There you go! I hope you like it!

VLVSeptWk4: WINTER WISHES

Hello crafty friends. I have another entry for the Viva la Verve challenge. This card was made using the Viva la Verve sketch for September week 4.

(A2: Stamps:  Die: Die-Versions Sweet Spot, Spellbinders; DSP: MME (Vintage Christmas))

How about a little vintage Christmas this time! I recently got the Die-Versions Sweet Spot die and wanted to play with it. I used the Week 4 sketch, added a small double bow and a white poinsettia. A little stitching and a few rhinestones were also added.

Thanks for stopping by!
