Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! It is the second Friday in February and time for my Great Impressions inspiration from the Great Impressions store!

(A2: Stamps: Great Impressions Stamps (D364 - Happy Valentines and Flowers, E853 – Amaryllis and F595 - Decorative Pots)

I just love this Amaryllis and the flower pots stamps. I colored them with Copics, used several dies and designer paper layered with grey for the borders. The stitching around the image and sentiment is hand stitched. the rest is machine stitched.

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! It is the first Friday in February and time for my Great Impressions inspiration from the Great Impressions store!

(A2: Stamps: Great Impressions Stamps (G478 Smokey the Love Bandit and B230 Bandit of Love and D457 - Heart Thought Bubble)

For today’s card, I chose two newly released stamps; Smokey the Love Bandit and Bandit of Love. For the background, I used water color paper and heat embossed the hearts in clear EP. I then used Twinkling H20 and a water brush to paint the panel, starting with the dark color and moving to the lightest. After it was dry, I ironed off the embossing and stamped the sentiment. The Bandit is colored with Copics, fussy cut and attached with foam tape.

GREAT IMPRESSIONS FEBRUARY RELEASE

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! Welcome back for more inspiration from the Great Impressions store! Today is the start of our February challenge! Are you ready for it? This month, our challenge is: LOVE, LOVE, LOVE! Here is a little something to hopefully inspire you!

Here is the totally adorable Elliot all ready for Valentines Day. Both of these stamps have just been introduced at Great Impressions. I colored Elliot with Copics then added a little gel pen and glossy accent to the hearts.

Have you thought about Valentines Day yet? Today I thought I would inspire you with a Valentine made with sparkly hearts on a beautiful piece of card stock from my stash. I used the cute heart thought bubble and stamped the sentiment inside. I added a border and flowers to complete my card.

Hello to all of my Great Impressions friends! It is the fourth Friday in January and time for my Great Impressions inspiration from the Great Impressions store!

This week we have a special theme: Valentine Candy Wrap! Here is what I came up with:

OK! I had so much fun, I had to do two of these! I cut both of these treat boxes on my electronic cutter as well as the cute little heart on the second one. I used the GI Happy Valentines and Flowers stamp on both, stamping directly on the first box and using the heart tag for the sentiment on the second one. Now I wonder who I will give these to! LOL!!!!

DOODLE PANTRY TUESDAY RELEASE

Hello my Doodle Pantry friends! Today is Tuesday, so that means more products from Doodle Pantry! Today’s release includes some file cuts and cute images. I ended up making two cards for today, so here goes!

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Little Boy Valentines)

The square card is a cut file just full of fun ways to use hearts! The heart with words in it is from the Words of Heart file as are the digital papers.

 

For the truck card, I merged the teal, background with the sentiment and line art truck. I printed and colored the truck with Copic markers. I then used an embossing border to emboss the top of the panel and sanded the dots. The digi papers and the solid paper are all from the Little Boy Valentines set.

Hello my dear blogging friends. Welcome back to my blog today! I KNOW, you are thinking my goodness, it isn’t even Christmas and she is making Valentines. I have a project I am working on and need Valentines for it, so here goes! This is for the Viva la Verve challenge for week 4:

All of the papers are printed from the Hearts a Flutter set. The image outline was printed and then I colored it with Copics to match the papers.

MM330: MY VALENTINE

Hello my dear friends! Happy Friday!!! I hope you had a good week and have lots of fun this weekend. To start it off, I have a Valentine to share:

(A2: Stamps; Doodle Pantry (Rose Bloom); Die: Silhouette, Spellbinders (Circle); DP: K&Co (Smitten))

I just love the change up at Mojo Monday. It was fun making a tall and skinny card, which allowed my circle to go over the edge and still fit in an A2 envelope. I used my Silhouette to cut the circle with circles and allowed the extra circles to be the last embellishment in the sketch. The My Valentine sentiment is a digital sentiment from Doodle Pantry. I cut it with a Spellbinders and inked it before removing from the die.

Happy Sunday sweeties. I hope your New Year is starting off with blessings, good health and family. I have already sent my Valentine’s to Operation Write Home, but I saved some cards to share with you using the new January Release sets.

OK, when I saw these lips I just laughed! How funny and beautifully pre-colored! I hope some military wife or GF gets a kick out of this card! I creased the lips a little and used foam tape at the top and bottom but a thicker pop dot in the center to give them dimension.

DOODLE PANTRY JANUARY RELEASE: HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY

No! It isn’t Valentine’s Day yet, silly!! But it is time for Doodle Pantry’s January release and Laurie has some incredible Valentine images and sentiments for you! This one comes from the FEATURED PRODUCT for DPDC42:

(A2; Digital stamp set: Doodle Pantry (Heart on Fire) includes digital papers, images and sentiment); Fibers: Really Reasonable Ribbon (Baker’s Twine))

I love the hot, hot, hot colors in this set! I used the solid yellow as my main panel and digitally added three hearts in the left corner. For the big heart and sentiment, I added the sentiment in the middle of the heart, sized it and printed. Then I was able to cut it out with my Silhouette. The pretty orange designer paper makes up the border and the strip across the card, and the solid orangey/red is stitched on for interest.
