Morning!
Hope you're all having a good week so far!
The lovely people over at For Fun Challenges have let me guest design for them this week and next week! Thanks!!!
This weeks challenge is Western and here's my card:
This cute little guy is from Bugaboo, the sentiment was done on my computer and I've distressed some Core-dinations card. I was um-ing and ah-ing about what to embellish it with - I never seem to have anything good for guy type cards as the usual pearls and gems don't really work! However I was thrilled when found these star shaped brads that I bought ages ago in a sale and had forgotten about.
I can't wait to see what other people have made - I love having a good old nose round other peoples blogs, and it would be great if you joined us this week too!
Thanks for looking!
Julie xx

Halloween
Hi,
Happy Sunday! Today I've got a Halloween card to share with you all. I bought loads of black colour core card ages ago (in about a thousand different colours!) but I've not really done anything with it yet!
After some serious sand paper action this black / green card looks great! Plus I took a trip to one of my local craft shops yesterday for some things for a birthday card and just after I had handed over my life savings to pay for my "one or two" bits I spotted this amazing black spiders web/holey tights/ripped ribbon on a shelf and I just had to get some.
The cute Frankenstein guy is a freebie from The Stamping Boutique - how cute is he?
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
Craft Your Passion - Anything Goes & Ribbon
Tuesday Throwdown - Halloween
One Stop Craft Challenge - Anything Goes
Paper Playtime - Use Black, Orange and Purple
Really Reasonable Ribbon - Halloween
Crafty Calendar Challenge - Spooky
Thanks for looking!

30th Birthday
Afternoon!
My husband is 30 tomorrow - so I've been working on his card this morning. I've already given it to him though as I didn't got an envelope big enough, plus he was milling around whilst I was cursing and cutting out the little boy and his car - I need to either get some decoupage scissors or get a new blade for my craft knife!
He really liked it and said that it reminded him of playing outrun in the arcade machines when he was a teenager ( Which is a very long time ago now!! ha ha!)
The image is called AJ - the race car driver and it's one of the images I chose from The Stamping Boutique as part of my prize from Tuesday Throwdown a week or so ago. The image looks really flat on this photo, but I've done it in three layers. I'm also loving Core-dinations card at the minute.
I always forget how hard it is to get really nice DP for male cards - there are literally thousands for the girls, so I did a little happy dance when I spotted this at the craft store! It's lovely and so summery!
There are loads of challenges to enter with this card:

Oriental
Morning!
Here's something I made last night - I was sorting through all my lovely papers (I sometimes seem to spend a whole evening looking at my papers and bits rather than making cards). I found some oriental papers and chipboards which I got free in a magazine ages and decided to use them up.
I also found some black/red core-dinations card which I bought a couple of months ago when a crafts website had a fab sale. My rubbish photography, however, doesn't show up the red distressed edges well - it looks much better in real life.
I'm going to add this card into the following challenge:
