Rumors turned to truth overnight - it's official - the next guest designer for H&M will be Maison Martin Margiela!!!
I just can't wait to see what this marriage between this high-street pop empire and (probably) the last resort of punk will be like. Ok, I might be exaggerating a bit, MMM have been closer to MTV than to the true underground for years now - since Mr.Margiela has left fashion for his love of interior design, Renzo Rosso, a man in charge of both Diesel and DSquared, has been steering MMM towards a more open (yet, not too open - he still wants to preserve the Margiela cult!) attitude to general public.
What do you think will happen - mass hysteria and endless lines like with Versace and Marni collections, or puzzled H&M buyers, as it happened once already with Comme des Garçons?
