Moda (ni)je umetnost. Previše pretenciozna tvrdnja za jedan kampanjski vođen blog. Esencija konzumerizma ili l'art de vivre, nebitno je - za (n)ovu sezonu treba samo da skinete prašinu sa udžbenika istorije umetnosti i bestidno počnete da prepisujete, da ne kažem - preslikavate! Ako je mogao veliki Yves Saint Laurent šezdesetih, zašto ne bismo i mi?

Fashion is (not) art. Casually written blog such as this doesn't deserve such a pretentious claim. Whether it's the essence of consumerism or l'art de vivre - the only thing to remember this season are high school art classes. Dust off your art history books and start copying shamelessly! If it could have worked for the great Yves Saint Laurent, why wouldn't it for us?

I još malo mermera, za promenu :). DIY Céline ogrlicu već znate, ali ko bi rekao da 90s streč majica sa Najlona može imati prizvuk Balenciage? Stare, prepravljene XXL muške pantalone istog porekla, plus čizmice od neoprena, za preko potrebnu dozu (retro)futurizma!

And (what a surprise!) a bit more of marble. Let's start with this DIY Céline marble necklace, no introduction necessary. Who would have thought that this 90s trashy crop top I thrifted from Nylon flea market could channel Balenciaga Fall 2013 so well? Speaking of Nylon thrift whoring - those XXL trousers I edited and neoprene booties are here for the oh-so-needed dose of (retro)futurism!

Ništa lepše od trocifrene, guilt free kupovine kod Kineza. Šarom mermera opsednuta sam već neko vreme, a ovaj šoping bio je zaista marbleous :) U jednačinu ubacite i moje redovne posete gvožđari, i eto DIY Céline ogrlice! Volim kada neki odevni predmet otkrijem ponovo. Bila sam ubeđena da sam karike ostavila u srednjoj školi, ali, eto, ispostavilo se da ovako u neparu, pa još u kombinaciji sa marble printom, nose potpuno drugo značenje....

Nothing puts a smile on my face as fast as a dirt cheap, guilt free shopping at a Chinese store. I've been obsessing over marble print for a while, and this shopping spree has been nothing short of marbleous :) If you bring my (in)famous reputation in a local hardware store into the equation, you can surely see this DIY Céline necklace coming! I love when I discover some piece again, see it from another angle. I could have sworn that I've left hoop earrings in the high school, but they've turned to be something entirely different if worn single, especially with this marble(ous) detail...
