人気マンガ「ONE PIECE（ワンピース）」が原作の歌舞伎「スーパー歌舞伎2（セカンド）『ワンピース』」が“シネマ歌舞伎版”として10月22日から映画館で上映される。シネマ歌舞伎版の上映時間は118分を予定しており、昨年11月の新橋演舞場（東京都中央区）の公演を撮影し、映像ならではのカットも盛り込まれるという。
「ONE PIECE」は1997年から「週刊少年ジャンプ」（集英社）で連載中の尾田栄一郎さんの人気マンガ。「スーパー歌舞伎2（セカンド）『ワンピース』」は、歌舞伎俳優の四代目市川猿之助さんが脚本、演出、主演を務める。ルフィが兄と慕うエースなどが登場する頂上戦争編がテーマで、プロジェクションマッピングやミュージカルのようなダンスなどを取り入れた演出が話題になっている。
