Audio ripped from the CD version, provided to me by an Asuka-gumi fan. Scans are by me, taken from the vinyl version.
This is the original soundtrack to the Asuka-gumi OVA that came out in 1987, however this is also partially classified as an image album for the manga due to it having come out before the release of the OVA itself. The vinyl version has been sorta popping up for sale a bit more frequently than before—at least, last I checked…but still a bit difficult to track down. CD version’s even rarer.
Music-wise? An okay album. Not bad by all means, but nothing I’d place at the top of my lists. Unfortunately there’s one unreleased BGM from the OVA that wasn’t included on the album for whatever reason, and considering the album’s overall length, it DEFINITELY could’ve been included. Sad!
Anyways, enjoy.
