2019年夏に開催した第一弾では、ABBAの地元スウェーデンから人気ミュージカル歌手が参加し、好評を博しました。今回も「Mamma Mia」や「Dancing Queen」など、誰もが一度は聴いたことのある大ヒットナンバーはもちろん、ABBAメンバーが制作に関わったミュージカル「CHESS」からも楽曲を紹介し、日本が誇る歌姫たちがミラーボールが光り輝く会場で自慢の歌声を響かせました。
ABBA is a pop group that created a sensation on the world’s music scene from the 1970s to the early 1980s. “Musical Meets Symphony: THE GREATEST HITS FROM ABBA 2″ is a concert that delivers some of ABBA’s most famous songs, performed by talented singers and orchestra. In the first concert that was held in summer of 2019, popular musical singers from Sweden (ABBA’s homeland) performed, and the concert was highly acclaimed. This year’s event featured not only hit numbers that everyone has heard before, such as “Mamma Mia” and “Dancing Queen”, but also songs from the musical CHESS, which ABBA members were involved in producing, and the Japanese pop singers sang with pride in the mirror ball-lit venue.
