OCTOBER!

Tradition! Conference pictures.

Bruce found the favorite hiding spot.

Ralph's Birthday!

So when I was in college, I had a class on WWII. I remember asking the teacher what the land looked like between all of the fighting. Now I know. In this picture you can kind of see the disaster our yard was before our big clean out day.

Dumpster delivered and ready to be loaded.

Step one, take apart the rotten deck, clear out all of the rotten piles of wood all over the yard.

Step two, tackle the poplar tree stumps. Apparently a car jack played a big roll. Whoda thought.

Pulling out the roots.

The stump is out and on the move.

Proud men who helped remove the stump.

Step three, tackle the big Oak Tree. Why not? The dumpster was overflowing by this point.

And, they won. All of the leafy lims were taken from the tree. Ralph and I might be able to open our window next spring without dying of allergies. (Found out we are both allergic, and the tree was right outside of our bedroom window.)

And, our new kind of ugly back yard. We kept staring outside for a week basking in the glory of a cleared out yard. Now, hopefully next spring we can start little by little to rebuild it into the yard of our dreams. By the time Amber graduates from High School in 2024, it should be perfect. Thanks again for everyone's help!!!

It's been a while, egh?

In the last few months...

Bruce turned One!

The kids played in new fun ways...

We went to California. This is Newport Beach at sunset.

Huntington Beach.

Our nephew was married in the Jordan River temple. We were really surprised, I mean happy for him.

And that seems to be all of the pictures I can add right now. Rest of the catch up to come.

JUNE

Amber's art work. The left side are Care Bears.

Bruce's cousins took good care of him when we went to the Dinosaur museum and farm together.

Such a happy boy. He almost always smiles for the camera.

Amber and her cousin four days older dressed the same when we met them at a trampoline place to play.

The kids decorated their Father's day gifts, almost by themselves.

With the beautiful weather, the girls have been playing outside, then stopping to eat their lunches.

I love pictures of sleeping  babies.
He got a little too top heavy, put his head down and fell asleep.

Grandpa Bruce and little Bruce.

A lot to catch up on

We went to visit Ralph's mom and sister's graves for Mother's Day this year.

Helping with some yard work, the girls found a fun place to sit and play.

Bruce didn't like the grass tickling his feet!

They all love books!

Bruce had four cousin's born the same year as him. Here are the ones that live in Utah celebrating their 1st birthday together.

And to finish the month off, Amber graduated from preschool. She learned so much and matured so much over the last year. I am grateful for the school and it's teachers for giving her a great experience, and now she is ready for Kindergarten!
