Fairy Smiles

 It has been awhile since I added to my Thinking of You, Just Because card stash and it is getting low so I decided to add to my stash with this card featuring "Fairy On A Log" from High Hopes Rubber Stamps in some fall colours. I love to send a card to a friend or family member I haven't been able to connect with for awhile. 

After stamping on alcohol marker friendly paper and colouring with Copic markers, I hand fussy cut the stamp leaving a thin white edge. I added some sparkle pen to her wings and the flower petals. 

 Patterned paper from Simple Stories and Honey Bee Stamps were perfect for my card so I cut them to fit my 4.25" x 5.5" base. All paper is edged with ink to help the layers pop. I stamped the sentiment and cut it out with a sentiment strip and cut a matching piece of card stock to go behind it. The stamp is added to the card front with foam pop dots and the card is finished off with enamel dots.

Thanks so much for popping by today!  I have had this adorable image coloured up for a while now & I thought it was time to get her made into a card.  This is "Fairy On A Log".  I have paired this sweetie with "Dot Simple Happy Birthday".

This fairy just takes me to thoughts of a dreamy day, sitting in nature & enjoying everything around me.  I kept the design for this card very simple.  Since I chose the Copic BV's it was a little challenging to match cardstock...but I like the choice I made.  I just had a couple sheets left, I believe it is a retired Bazzil color.  I don't remember the name of the colour...sorry!

I always love Tuesdays because it means I'm sharing a card using an image from High Hopes Rubber Stamps. Today I got to colour up this cutie called "Fairy on a Log" from the "This & That" release.

I'm in love with these papers from the Paper Rose "Rainbows & Unicorns" 6x6 collection. I coloured my image with my Copic Sketch Markers to match my papers. Using a Gina Marie Frilly Lace Square die, I cut out the image. I thought the HH sentiment called "Fairy Special Day" was perfect for my card! I added some glitter pen to her wings and some enamel hearts to finish off my card.

Fairy on Log

Howdy - MichelleO here today and this week for High Hopes Stamps I colored up a sweet little Happy Image. "Fairy on Log" - 

 

 

Isn't she sweet? She is colored with my Copics (colors used) and then added some Viva Decor Glitter - all fairy wings need some bling right? Along with a pattern paper from 3 Bugs in a Rug Sugar collection. White card stock base and green card stock mat all sewn together! 

 

The High Hopes Stamps sentiment "Hello Sunshine"  fit just perfect with this happy little fairy. I punched the sentiment with an EK Success punch. Then to finish it off a mulberry flower and Martha Stewart leaves punch. 

Really love the warm .... well happy feeling of this one.
