Back again with Julia and her merry band of followers showing their desks. Well, I did say I hoped to have something on my desk this week after such a long absence but I am afraid I did not make all the things I wished to do. If only I had one more day I could probably have shown you a couple of birthday cards. As it is I have one such card but can't show it as the recipient does peek on here to see what I am doing. The other two (not done) don't peek! Typical.
This is my desk. I wanted to do some Distress backgrounds but when I came to my ink pad I found it really dry. Now was this because I have not touched my inks for a couple of months and the weather has been hot hot hot or what? Anyway, I decided to reink the offending pad but oh what a nightmare to find the colour I wanted.
So I lined them all up in their colour families and put them back in the recycled cat food boxes with all the blues together, all the oranges together,. the greens and so on. Then I put a label behind so I will only have to go through a colour family to find the one I want. How do you sort your reinkers out - the ones that have the eyedropper type tops? Would love to know.
So still no work to show although I have got some samples ready for Saturday when I have to show the club what I intend to do the month after. I need to get three more done today (almost there) and get the two birthday cards done and my journal page for tomorrow. Phew! It won't all get done but some will.
