Can't believe how soon another Wednesday has come around. Time to have a nosey at some desks and see what various friends have been up to. Follow this link to WOYWW and Miss Julia and then see the desks of crafters from all over the world. You can have a morning of fun snooping about, honestly.
Well, thought I would treat you to one of my Junk Journal pages this morning. This is something I started with my friend Lorraine a few weeks before Christmas but which we both have let slide of late - now a real effort is being made to play catch up and my last three entries in my blog have been solely for my Junk Journal. Here's the latest:
I am entering this into Art Journal Journey where the theme is Geometric Shapes and I have a triangle, squares and a rectangle on this page. I have so enjoyed doing this challenge and even though this one was hard to do because of the pain in my back I made it - a real accomplishment. I just love that stamp I have used.
Now, my beloved has set my Vagabond up in my craft room so that I can do some die cutting electronically - saves him having to turn the handle on one of the others (ha ha). So that plus my tiny Misti has made it a bit easier to do some crafting.
My actual crafting area, at the moment, is a trolley with some papers on and one or two other bits plus a couple of Junk Journals.
Underneath is a small paper cutter and a bag of bits and pieces whilst on top you can see one of my Junk Journals, some German Scrap, a pack of bits from Katy's Corner, scissors and a ruler plus a folder which contains all the bits and pieces Lorraine and I gathered together to share for the purpose of making a Junk Journal each. There's a towel on the handle of my trolley which is for one of my hourly exercises that my new physio has told me to do. Started on Monday and am now doing more exercises each day to try to help. She has told me to do some crafting each day too in the hopes that it will help take my mind off the pain. So far it is a real effort but one has to push the boundaries some times.
Yesterday I had to go for my quarterly Pacemaker check and I was wishing it had been an afternoon appointment but in the afternoon it started snowing heavily - and sticking - so I was glad - we can now stay in for the remainder of the week.
Don't the trees look lovely with snow on them? Shot in full colour, not black and white! This is looking to the road from our utility room door. Thought it was a nice photo to finish off with. See you next week!

hope the exercises help, and a bit of daily crafting too! love the junk journal. Chuckled at the idea of your hubby saving his cranking hand by setting up the vagabond! Fab pic at the end, too. Hope it doesn't become too disruptive! Helen #?
It is a gorgeous stamp Neet. Glad things have been set up to help you craft more easily. I wish I didn't have to drive in snow. It's more ice than snow outside today, but not sure what it will be like once I get to work. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
Came back to reply to your comment - tbh most of Tim's stuff left me decidedly unbothered too, just a few bits here and there!
Wow, it's all happening in your craftroom AND you're you're no. 1 this week, yay!
Happy WOYWW :)

Happy WOYWW. Sorry to hear that your pain continues. Hope that the physio and distraction of crafting will help ease it. I love all the shapes on your junk journal page. Gorgeous snowy scene, but hope we don't see much of that white stuff before we get on the plane on Saturday morning. I need some Spanish sunshine! Ali x #8
Snow here too now!!! Looks lovely but its a pain to travel in! Love your art journal page. Great use of the geometric theme. Stay safe and warm xx
You are super well resourced with crafting materials - wow! That makes crafting and creating art an amazing time. Love your Junk Journal page - beautiful and so appropriate to Alison's AJJ topic again! Thank you for yet another fabulous entry linked to our challenge!
Happy day!
Susi
I'm sorry that you're still in so much pain with your back and sincerely hope that the new exercises will help alleviate it. Your crafting trolley made me smile, what an excellent way to continue making art and well done your other half for setting up the electric die cutter...every little helps. We haven't got snow yet, I think it's heading our way tomorrow!

Poor you. Was really hoping to hear your back was improving by now. I'm sure crafting will help so keep up the good work.

Hi Neet, that is a lovely view from your window.Must be great all year round too. Hope the back pain starts to ease up for you, that is horrible. Like the heat gun stand- mine hangs from a hook under my desk. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX
I wave to you from a white world (but the snow is already melting so it won't be long before it's all gone...) Nice journal page, I love the geometric shapes. And you end with a snowy photo, I started my post with one today! Ain't it beautiful outside?! Enjoy your day and hope you don't have too much pain... Happy woyww and love from Holland. Marit #18
Well I really hope you feel some benefit from the new physio regime...a towel on the trolley handle seems fairly innocuous, but I bet it can be a bu**er of an exercise if you’ve got pain. I do hope you can get it to ease. Love the ombré-ness in the junk journal page, and totally see why you live the stamp. I think a trolley full of supplies is a genius idea...you may end up with one in each room!! Then you wouldn’t have to call the beloved to die cut for you, you could just be in whichever room he is! Grand idea!!!
I'm so jealous that you got snow - we only had rain yesterday - I got completely soaked! Also jealous that you've got a Vagabond - I've only ever seen those on YT - lucky lady, you! Hope to see more pages of your junk journal - sounds promising! Enjoy the snow before it melts! zsuzsa #20
It does look pretty but I think your messy desk looks more inviting. Smile. It is good the hubby set up some more fun toys for you so you can craft and not make your back even worse. Loving the latest page in your junk journal. This geometric challenge is perfect for it! Stay inside and warm. Hugs-Erika
I like the challenge of Geometric shapes, visited and wow the entries are many. I too like the stamp. Your idea of a trolley is good ! And I think some type of exercise each day is good for all of us, but Have a good week Well wishes sent your way #19
Afternoon Neet. Woulod have commented hours ago - but google was misbehaving - still isn't right... but I'm getting there with it!!! Like that page - but sorry it had to be done whilst in such pain. I do hope it settles down soon, and you find yourself able to go leaping about from room to room... Great snow picture. I just LOVE the snow.
Take care girl. God bless.

So sorry to hear that you are in such pain, I do hope the crafting helping. Your journal page is lovely! I love challenges like that. I have save a bunch of Carol Dube challenges up for when I get back into my freezing room. Your photo is gorgeous, hard to believe it's not a B&W photo! Have a good week, feel better, Lindart #24
Hi Neet, Ooh I hope the new exercising is going to help with the pain. and that is great that you are getting set up to play with the do it yourself system too. ( I am sure I would run out of coffee before I could get my husband to crank my big shot lol) ;) The snow shot is gorgeous. I love the gate in the hedge too :) ~Stacy#26
Hope the physio helps. Love the journal page and what a gorgeous snowy shot. Thanks for sharing. Have a lovely week, with love and God Bless, Caro x (#30)
I hope you soon feel better! Stay warm it's so cold here. Happy WOYWW xx Jan (21)
Hi Neet, I hope the physio exercises help. Thanks for the message last week, sorry it's taken me a week to reply! The COPD is mild, but I'm more inclined to think it's a mis-diagnosis, so am thinking of going for a second opinion. You are doing right staying indoors, we had snow overnight, and then quite an eventful journey into work. I've not done any crafting again, so no desk this week, but just wanted to stop by and say hi. I love the trolley, and the junk journal. I need to get my crafting mojo back soon. Have a lovely week, Heather xx
Beautiful photograph, I don't think the winter is over yet by any means. Trolleys can be very useful for crafters. Have a lovely creative week and a very happy WOYWW, Angela x15x
Love all your junk journal pages, great idea to use up all the scraps we don’t dare to throw away as they might come in useful one day.
Another wonderful page for my theme at AJJ Neet!
Cheers,
Alison xx
Hope you are feeling better soon. One thing I don't miss is cold and snow, although it does look beautiful when it first falls. Ani#12
Hi Neet, I hope the exercise and crafting regime is helping and that you will soon be free of pain altogether. Your page is very nice indeed. And your snowy photo is beautiful. Interesting how it looks absolutely black and white. Sorry to be so late but I'm laid up with another chest infection and trying to comment from my phone - a hit and miss affair.
