WOYWW 448

First of all can I please welcome Heather, my latest follower.  Hope you find some inspiration here over the coming year.

Hold on to your hats ladies - I have begun my "C" cards for next year!  Really!  Die-cut and not stamping too which is a bit different for me although I have been die-cutting recently more than usual.  Mind you I have been using my inks for backgrounds - can't leave them alone - no prizes for guessing which ones.  The cards to date have been put away - just hope I remember next year.  Maybe a note in my phone?

After that I began getting some figures ready for completing my journal.  One I started ages ago and which had all the backgrounds done but was lacking figures.  I borrowed some stamps from my friend and stamped them plus some of my own and then I spent my time watching tv and cutting out over the Christmas period.  Now they just need colouring in and then I can glue them and voila - it will be a finished journal at last.  A nice little task to take on the plane when I go off on my annual jaunt to America.  But what colouring medium do I take?

Anyway, you came here to see my desk, so here it is

If you look closely you will see that I have them bagged up in various 'body parts' - legs in one, heads in another, bodies with heads and so on.  The journal is there on the right of the picture next to my red and white check towel that is for wiping inky hands and blocks on.  Behind that is my current Thursday Journal with my new pens from my friend on top.

By the side of the Australian flag you can see Monkee and KoKo the Koala alongside the calligraphy both from Shaz in Oz, and they are sat atop my Distress Inks.  The rest is pretty self explanatory, kitchen rolls, carousel with all kinds of things in it, pegboard (lots on it) dirty water that I have been washing my paintbrushes in and the usual crafty stuff.

Well, that's it for another week folks.  All that remains is to head on over to Ms Julia's to see what she and other crafters have been up to.  See you on the 10th!
