WOYWW 326

Well, nothing much happening here.  Was demonstrating the MINC on Sunday at the Leigh Show and I loved it.  I wasn't too confident about how many I would sell at a small show, afterall it is a high end product, but I sold Seven - yes, SEVEN.  We were selling them at a very reasonable show price and I am hoping that this will be the same at the next show in Harrogate.  Now I need to make some samples for Tracey with the pieces I brought home so that is what is on my desk.  "Mincies" (pronounced like the fur coat) is the name I gave to my cards.  LOL

As usual here is another journal page, I made a while ago and forgot to blog, probably because it is one of my least favourites - followed by my lovely workspace - ready for WOYWW and the scrutiny of all my lovely blogging friends out there.  Take care, all of you.

The images that you see re the ones I put through the Minc on Sunday - now to turn them into cards - am thinking of things to do with the sheets of foil like the gold one in the front (got some ideas in my head - just need a machine again)

Just in case you forgot about the Oyster Stamps Blog Hop which I kicked off last Saturday the start of it all is here and you can join in now and play catch up.  Remember you need to follow the list at the bottom of my post and put a comment on each one - international members welcome too.

What on earth is a MINC?? Congrats on selling seven, that sounds like a triumph! I'm glad that everything went well for you...hope Harrogate is just as successful.
I rather like that journal page of yours..why aren't you keen on it? Isn't it funny how something can turn out well but it just doesn't push the buttons....happens to me all the time!!

Mincies...such a brill name! I love how we crafters can't avoid coining a new phrase for our equipment and produce. Wipso, Twiglet and I can barely say the words 'needle-felting', as to us it has been superseded by "dumfing"!! Funny lot aren't we?! Thanks for your lovely comments on my workdesk. I will propose a Phoenix project to Benjamin next time we have a rainy day painting session! Happy crafting :-)

Had to look up the Minc because I'd never heard of it! It looks a cool tool for foiling. Well done selling so many. Your journal page is gorgeous!

Thanks for your lovely comment - Shaz will hopefully be on the ward by now and I hope she's not feeling too sore (she probably will be)... We are both so grateful for all the wonderful support we've had from our friends on here, helping us along our journey! Next year we can both hopefully look forward to a cancer free life, and getting our lives back at last!

I heard from the publisher today that I can put the stuff on my blog so I'll be posting tomorrow! It's all very exciting.

Enjoying a few days of freedom feeling pretty well, before the next treatment on Friday.

Happy WOYWW,
Shoshi #29
