Just Popping In

As the title says I am just popping in to show you a box card I made recently.  Went to Victoria Stampers last weekend and made a super frame card (totally 'invented' by the talented Chezzie) but mine got squashed on the way home so I need to do another.  There are so many variations that Chezzie has done that I thought I should do them all before uploading.

Anyway - I only stayed for the first half of the workshop and in the second they made one of those boxes that has things popping up out of them.  I had already promised a friend I would show her how to do these when she came around on Thursday so this is the sample I did for Margaret.

I did a similar one back in April after staying in a Guest House which was all spooky themed but as I sent this to the owner as a 'thank you' I wanted one of my own.  Ideal chance - so here it is.  Actually it has more stuff on it than the other one

This one has three strips inside it so there are more layers and I used some laser-cuts I got at Leigh Show (bat, rat, spider) and the clock has Glossy Accents on the front of it and a metal finger.

The stamps are Stampers Anonymous and, I think, Graphic 45 for the 'Witches Brew and Clock' and the bird is a CI stamp.

Painted with my Twinkling H2o's (I am back totally in love with them after a short spell of using my Neocolours) because I have found that Oyster Stamps are selling Silks Acrylic Glazes and I have wanted some of those for two years.  I doubled my stash of them up yesterday with an order because at £12.50 for a set of 6 of the small pots it is a bargain.  Can't wait for them to arrive.

Incidentally Margaret went home on Thursday having made a box card (forgot to photograph hers) and a Candy Box, Square Gift Box (2 actually, different shapes), Gift Bag, Pillow Box and some envelopes all made with the WR Memory Keepers boards.  She has now ordered one of each from Oyster and I was not trying to encourage her to buy, see them here.
