Consequently not done much, I must be the houseguest from hell with all this not being up and running the whole time. However I did get some bits and pieces done for Mary. I did a Prima/Julie Nutting doll on a tag and drew some without clothes, both little jobs for my hostess. Then I zentangled (or whatever we are allowed to call it) on a mug. This was something they had been doing at CHA and Mary loved it so thought it would be good to do in a class. I am no zenner but I managed to do something which impressed Mary. We now have one sample. I am going to sit with my feet elevated and do another this morning.
In the meantime here are a couple of shots from CHA (sorry you have to click on the photos to get a proper view, not sure what I am doing on this iPad)
Not sure about the first picture but the last two were from DCWV. Do any of you remember the ones they did a couple of years ago? The beautiful peacock and the trees with all the paper birds and things inside glass balls? Some of you may even remember the dresses they had the time before. Those were mind blowing. Sadly the displays throughout were not as spectacular as they have been - a sign of the times I guess.
I didn't get to see my favourite artist who gave me that beautiful fan last year as Viva did not have a stand, well, I didn't see one. Again a sign of the times.
Well, guess you want to see what is on my desk. That is what this is all about after all. I re painted the front cover of my album as it was not black enough in my opinion. Made a start on the inside bit nothing great to show you. Here it is
Now pop along to see what everyone else has posted on WOYWW.

Glad you remembered in time, Neet! Hope you feel better soon. You found some more great stands from CHA to share, loving them. Helen 23
Great post Neet, love the photos from CHA and also your beautiful album. Please take care of yourself, keep those feet up for as long as you can - hope you feel much better soon. Hugs, Anne x
Hi Neet, hope you are not doing too much over there and taking care of yourself. I'm back blogging and joining in WOYWW for the first time in months so it's good to do a bit of catch up. I can visit blogs and comment using the iPad but haven't worked out how yo put photos in a blog post - you will have to give me a lesson when you are home.
See you soon

I think your album is looking good so far. We'll have to keep an eye on it and see how it comes along. I enjoyed the photos from CHA. I do remember the fancy more elaborate designs from DCWV. I like what they've done this year as it seems more like something people would want to duplicate. I mean, what are you going to do with a giant paper peacock? If you're in my house you are going to watch is slowly get destroyed by cats (or not so slowly).
Hi Neet. Trust you really start to feel better soon, and feel you are achieving...
I love that clock - the decoration is beautiful. Your album looks good - waiting now to see what goes inside.
Have a good week.

So sorry to hear you are under the weather. Even with vendors missing, I am always overwhelmed at CHA. So much to see and do. Love, love, love all the new jewelry findings, dies, and folders. I hope you had a good time. Did you get to the spellbinders booth? Awesome. Peg R #91

Reading between the lines it sounds like your health is still not as good as we all hoped....please look after yourself and rest when your body says you must.

...and agree with Anne hope you are not overdoing it dear friend ..pray not, and may the LORD will watch over your health and keep you safe, Shaz in oz.x
oops meant to say am #6 :D
Love the cover looks very black to me. As to the comment about zentamgles I know some peow have said it is copy righted but I thought the word and style has been around along time before who ever has tried to own or recently it has bece a generic work ... Like hoovering even though you use a stazon .. If you get my meaning swgigneea don't own words. I know Barbara grey is calling it something. Different for copy right reasons ... Just silly I think anyway
Enjoy the rear
Of CHA .

I had to learn to post on Tuesday evening. For you in CA, it would be late afternoon. Wish you felt better, but maybe you are now that you have put your feet up and relaxed a bit. After all, I'm very late returning the visit.
Bleubeard wants to snuggle and pretend he is sitting on YOUR lap rather than mine (grin). Happy very, very belated WOYWW.
