WOYWW (or Thursday in my case)

Didn't get to posting yesterday as I was journeying home and when I got home was too tired (and sickly because I was tired) to do anything but veg out on the settee.

This was my "desk?" yesterday (meal on the plane with real cutlery and linen napkin)

It was delicious
The steak was perfect

This was the view from my window as we left LA

and as we landed in Manchester

Am I crazy leaving this

for this

Our drive when we got home was covered in snow - and still is.  So much that the car could not get up the drive when we got home (friend's car) and ours came past the front of the bungalow but refused to go up to the garage (by the side of the steps you can see it is a bit of an incline) this morning.

Anyway, when we got home we unpacked (still have the spare bed to clear of my clothes - summer ones which need putting away) but this is our bed full of the crafting goodies etc which came back with us - now I know why the cases were marked "heavy".

I have tried, whilst away from home, to at least comment on those people who have commented on my blog about WOYWW and will try to play catch up today and make some comments but I am so cold (despite Central Heating) and probably suffering jet-lag that it might take a few days in reality.

Hop on over to WOYWW to see what others have been up to and what delights they have to show you - might even get a few tips about crafting things.  Gosh I am number 195 now!

Must also get my craft room tidied a bit as the above got dumped in there in piles and I have to sort out what I am going to put into the Timmy bag for my Candy.  Don't forget to get signed up as it closes next week.

TTYL and TTFN!

Old Men or Vintage Man

Well, if you have been over to JFF you will have seen that this week I have chosen something Vintage for the men.

As I am just back from our trip, and suffering jet lag (oh how I suffer and sometimes for about three weeks) I am not doing my usual chat on here instead I am posting my card.

As you can see I have used PaperArtsy stamps from the Man of Numbers range and used my Distress Inks to colour the paper with the man stamped on.  The background paper is Basic Grey, one of my favourites and one which I have been guarding with my life.  Shows what jet-lag does - I have used it!

Now to see what you can all come up with.  Looking forward to seeing your Vintage Men - read what I had to say on JFF before I went away.
