Gone Promarker Silly

I've been colouring in this afternoon - well part of it.  Need to get to grips with these Promarkers as life would be so much simpler if I could do them quickly (and do them well).  Decided to do one in pale blue and pale mint green and make it a last minute entry on The Playdate Cafe.  Am always last minute with that challenge!

Anyway, no time for any elaborate mounting, the image was on a scrap of card so not large enough to cut out with any of my Nestabilities - here it is - plain and simple - but following the colours (excuse the red heart - it couldn't be any other colour could it?).

I liked the image with the pale mint green as the main card but it didn't work with the beige and blue in any combination so had to do it this way.  Suddenly I have got a liking for greens!  I had to include beige in my mounting as I could hardly get away with saying the skin tones or the hair tones were beige - or could I?

Might cut some buttons out of cardstock and put them on later but for now it will have to do as I am tired and need to go to bed.

I've Used My Promarkers

At last I have used my Promarkers and made my first card.  It is my lovely little Chloe's birthday and I decided to use one of my new stamps and make her birthday card with it.  As we always go out shopping, the three of us, I thought I would use the little girl with the shopping bags.

I am quite pleased for my first attempt on my own with the face and the hair but as the clothing did not have any folds I found that rather difficult and it does look a bit flat.

I put some glitter (Stickles) on the bags and on the flowers at the top right - don't little girls like glitter?  The shapes used are from my Nestability stash.  Hope she likes it as it is not as elaborate as the other cards I have done for her in the past.

Sorry the scan looks a bit washed out, it is much brighter in real life.  Wonder what Diane and Alison will think of my attempt?
