As it was such a beautiful day it was easy for me to fulfill one of the many things I wanted to do. This was one of the markers on the walk we had. Do you know what I was following? Here is a closeup of part of the above marker.
The next picture should give you a real clue as to what the trail was all about.
Look at the Queen's eyes - don't think she liked my sitting on the King's lap - do you?
Then I went for tea. Love the teapot and the milk jug. They actually turn around on the table - must have a central pivot.
This cake says "Eat Me"
It was another marker
If you look closely you will see that there are some drawn curtains at the top of this one and a door with a handle on both sides near the base.
This is my final clue - the cat! Yes, it is the Cheshire Cat from Alice in Wonderland. We were at Happy Valley in Llandudno and the photo on the earlier post was guessed right by Jo who recognised The Little Orme in the background.
I love anything to do with Alice in Wonderland but still haven't seen the statue which is the White Rabbit. Perhaps he disappeared down this rabbit hole which actually was on the trail. (The statue is on the West Shore and we didn't go there - I did too much walking as it was.)
Just for those who do not know Llandudno here are a couple more pictures
The pier
We love Llandudno, it's nice and flat, Badgers in the shopping arcade make wonderful scones and we love the cinnamon toast and in summer they have a real live Punch and Judy show on the Promenade. Give it a go if you have never been.
Now to learning my German covered today - I must know the pronunciation of the alphabet for next week. Ah well, can sing along to a You Tube video and maybe craft at the same time. Tschus!
