A Card for a Friend

One of my friends suffered a loss in the family the other week and this is the card I made for her.  As they were away at the time I did not want to make it into a sympathy card so I made it a Thinking of You one instead.

It looks a bit wonky but I have checked the actual card and it is fine.

First of all I did my background using Tumbled Glass Distress Inks, putting them on with a torn piece of paper underneath to try to get a shaded effect.  Now this normally works with the older Distress Inks but didn't work too well with this one.  Next I stamped in Teal and then cut out those little butterflies in teal cardstock.  The words are computer generated as I don't have a suitable stamp.
