Bookie Joint

Never done one of these before so can't tell you "really" what it is.  All I know is that Mel asked for between 8 and 20 players.  Each player had to make a number of pages of a certain size and they had to be backed with double sided sellotape.

Anyway, my cut out "Alice's" and "Mad Hatter's"  caused some questioning yesterday so here is the finished page.

I stamped the words on previously coloured (Rusty Hinge and Tumbled Glass Distress Inks) paper and tore it in half with a bit out to make a gap.  Next was to mount it on some cream coloured paper. Then I stamped, cut out and coloured (with Twinkling H2o's) my two characters from Lewis Carroll's "Alice in Wonderland" and put them over the words.

Finally I mounted the whole thing on Navy Blue cardstock and then put my shrink plastic words "Curiouser and Curiouser" in the gap.  Oh, you can't see but I coloured the only heart in (bottom right'ish) with a red glitter gel pen.

Now I have to wait until Jo comes back from Stempel Mekka (boo hoo I can't go this time) with my completed Bookie Joint with lots of lovely artwork from my friends.
