We Have a Winner

Got OH to choose a number (from the bedroom where he is reading his iPad) for my blog candy and he chose number 17 which equated to May.  Congratulations MAY, (how appropriate that May should win on the 1st of that month.  My mum was called May too and her birthday was at the end of this month) you are the winner of my blog candy and as soon as you get in touch with your address I will send it off to you.  My email addie is in the sidebar.

Now what is May going to get? Well, she has a big sunhat which is all the way from Prima at CHA this year and there are some goodies that went inside it -

Twelve stamps plus some alphabet ones, an inkpad, pens and some stickers - I hope they will all be of use to you May.  Enjoy!

Thanks to all of you who entered, thanks so much for being my followers - watch out for the next give away.

Blog Candy

(Hopefully this will stay at the top of my blog until the 30th April.)  Sorry it has taken me so long to get this up on my blog - got side-tracked with the sorting out of my room after the purchase of my sewing machine.  Am so excited about the machine but still not had a go on it as yet.

Anyway - here goes - the Blog Candy is UP and OUT for you to join in.  I do like to treat my followers and so I am making this for followers only.  Not just the present ones, but any new ones who want to come along - but please don't just join in for the candy, its unfair to all those who support me/become friends through BlogLand and drop in from time to time to see what I am up to .

So what do you have to do?

1.  Be  follower
2.  Post a picture of my Blog Candy to your sidebar
3.  Let me know you are a follower by leaving a comment
4.  Check back on the finish date to see if you have been the lucky winner.

So what's in it - the crown of this hat contains some Um's and there are some flowers so you can decorate the hat when you wear it out in the sun.  There might be one or two other bits and bobs that won't go in the crown that get sent off too, as well as those peel off markers I am showing you.

Good Luck!

No 6 in the list and that is

...

...

Ann B - can you contact me privately please.

Well done, hope you are a Timmy fan and that you like what I have filled the bag with.

Don't despair the rest of you as I will be giving away the hat we used to make the draw from.

Here it is the right way around

As part of my next blog candy

Of course, as it came from Prima it will have to have some Prima Flowers to go with it for you to decorate it. Might even throw in some other goodies, a stamp or two?  Watch this spot for news of what and when it is coming.

BLOG CANDY CLOSED

WINNER WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER TODAY

I have this little goody bag that was signed by a certain someone and as it just sits idly in my stamp room I have decided it can go to a good home.  So the candy is this little bag full of goodies.  DON'T YOU WANT TO ENTER JUST FOR THE BAG?

To enter for my Blog Candy I'd prefer you to be a follower as I would like to give a 'thank you' to someone who calls in now and then.  Please don't join just to get the candy, or leave me as soon as the candy has gone as it is unfair to all those lovely people who do pop by and support me/become friends via Blogland.
So to enter:
 Become a follower
Post a picture of my candy to your side bar
Let me know that you are a follower by leaving a comment
Watch this blog from the 29th January for pictures/news of CHA
Candy closes mid February.   Good Luck!

Polymer Clay & ATC's and BLOG CANDY

I haven't blogged for almost a whole week!  Shame on me.  Got a good excuse (well to me anyway).  I have been up to my eyes, or should it be elbows, in Polymer Clay.

I have another Polymer Weekend coming up and just had to get 40 beads made to swap.  Now, whilst I can make canes for the Millefiori Technique I cannot add them to spheres.  Tears (well almost) and tantrums later I have 40 beads BUT am not at all satisfied with them.

The green cane was lovely but I could not get it right on a bead so they turned out somewhat different to what I envisaged.  If you have ever made beads like this you will know there is more to it than meets the eye.  After covering the base shape I had to put a hole through - not good for me.  Getting it to meet up from one end to another is trauma time.  Then each bead has to be sanded - time taking.

Because I am not happy with the beads I am taking I decided to do ATC's to give out with each one - small compensation.  Forty ATC's later ...

Some have quotes on so I am entering the Lots to Do Challenge which is "quotes" this week.  Love the kiddie quotes.  There is also a quote on Tutor Alison's ATC which may qualify if the above do not - it's the Ginger Rogers one.

Tried to link the ATC's to the tutors - Alison got the Fred/Ginger one, Donna the one with horses, Danni and Natalia the nature ones, Sylvie the Art Nouveau and Lindley (who I do not know) the sunflower.

Now my friend Jo has BLOG CANDY up so follow the link and have a go.  There's also blog candy on offer on The Stampman.

In the meantime I have some blog candy up too.

This is the first lot

The second some red rubber
plus a couple of Photo stamps

All you have to do is be a follower.  If you can, display one of the two photographs on your blog with a link to mine, or just leave a link on your blog and leave a comment below this post to be entered into the draw which will take place Sunday 11th July at noon..

Am off now as I have still loads of clay to condition - my poor hands are sore!  Have you ever conditioned Kato Clay?  It is fantastic stuff but boy oh boy does it take some conditioning.  Use a pasta machine?  Have you tried cleaning one when you have used black clay and then want to use, say, transluscent?

Will be back in a few days with pictures of my weekend, hopefully.

Later:  Chas has just found out his car will cost £1,250 to have repaired - OUCH!  Fuel pump went yesterday when he was in Manchester.  I have found out I didn't need to condition all the clay I had - it is being provided (didn't get the original email) - and guess what?  I have just broken my pasta machine.  No car (Chas has it), no pasta machine.  Great Day!  Think I will go to bed and get up again!

BLOG CANDY ALERT

As it is my birthday I thought I would offer some blog candy.

There is a Tim Holtz stamp (because I bought it again when I already had one), a set of Heidi Swapp clear alphabet stamps (bought at CHA Super Show purposely for blog candy), a Tonic Distresser (given to me in TH class but as I already have one thought I would share), a Tim Holtz Distress Embossing Ink (because it is a duplicate, again), one of those mini bottles of Claudine Helmuth's Studio Muli-medium matte (only obtainable in this size at CHA - darling little bottles) and my wooden bracelet made with Claudine at CHA (just because).

All you have to do is become a follower and leave a comment underneath to say you want to be included in the draw.  If you are already a follower perhaps you will mention it to me to make life easier for me when you leave a comment.

As I am mega busy with workshops at the moment I will make the draw in two weeks time, 24th March - which coincides with my friend's birthday.

I'll do another later but wanted to make this one a bit connected with my recent trip to America and CHA.
