CWWC DT - Distress it

Morning!

Super quick post from me as it's my Nephew's Christening today! Eeeek!
So a brand new challenge over at Crafting When We Can today - Link is HERE
We are sponsored by the awesome Oddball Art Co. - Link to store is HERE
And our challenge is "Distress it!"

I've used Big Eye Eve Has Something To Say - Link is HERE
And I tried to stick to the red, blue and black colour combo, which is reflected in the buttons and colours used on the image itself. The sentiment has been printed off the pc. To distress my card, I roughed up the edges of the paper and cards. You can use various tools, I like to use a craft knife tho.

As I say, Super quick from me. Hope you enjoy your Sunday and look forward to seeing your creations on the blog! :)

Just Gorjuss!!

Hello Everyone :)

I hope you all had a fab Christmas and New Year.

Yet again, I haven't found the time to pop into blogland.. But... I am determind to update it at least 3 times a week! This is my aim, if you please, for 2013!

So, onto the first posting of 2013..

I am combining 2 challeneges for this card, one a sketch and one "anything goes with ribbon". And I HAD to use my new Gorjuss Girl stamp! Well, one of them anyways as i have actually brought 8 I think the running total is. they are just too cute!

Enough jibbering... the card:

I went with quite a grungey look. I have got ink everywhere too!
The stamp is called "Little Red". Here is a close up:

The challenges I'm entering into are:

1. Addicted To Stamps - Challenge #47 Sketch
2. Totally Gorjuss - Anything goes with Ribbon!

Please do check out these blogs, they are fab and they do provide a lot of inspiration.

Sweet Selina

Well then... after nearly having a fight with this stamp I finally managed to get it too stamp.. kind of! Had to go over the outline in black promarker which took agessssssss!! I don't know why this stamp won't stamp properly. I get like a negative effect like the ink isn't sticking to the stamp... but anyways, that's another story! If anyone has any ideas tho, please feel free to let me know :)

So onto the card itself.. Going to enter 2 challenges with this card, Crafts & Me - Distressed and Colour Create - Lilac, Blue, White & Kraft I have used "Sweet Selina" for this card..

She's on a 6x6 card which works quite well with the image as it's a small image. An 8x8 card and the image would have looked lost.. The edges of the kraft card is "distressed" with the muted colours.. The twizzly bits weren't quite dry (I was being impatient!) but I stuck them down anyways lol

Wasn't me.....

Trying to think where to start with this post... I made this card today.. Luckily enough it falls into a few blog challenges...

Card
Image used is called "Wasn't Me..." she's pretty cool in all fairness... Thought I would do something different too with her hair hence the bright red!!

Going to enter this card into the following challenges:

Passion for promarkers - "Kraft +1 other colour"

Distressed Whiff of Joy

So ProMarkers challenge is : "Kraft +1 other colour"

I did actually make this card a few days ago to be put onto my website. As you will notice, there is no greeting on this card as it can then be personalised. Also the cirlce is blank to add an age if needed.

The card stock used was coredinations. I must admit.... I do LOVE this card, rich colours yet you can distress it too. And scallop edge cards are just fab! This one is 8x8.

Added a few eyelets and stars for extra details.

Coloured the Guy in using ProMarkers; Shirt - Sandstone; Bottoms - China Blue; Hair - Terrecotta; Skin - Satin, Blush & Dusky Pink.

Something New

Good Morning..  Hope you all had a great christmas & fab new year too.  We are finally back with a new challenge over at My Time ...
