Mini Shu uemura Haul

Hi Everyone!

I am back with a Shu uemura haul. I heard alot of good feedbacks on their products so I took the opportunity to purchase their items. There was a Shu uemura stall in Brown Thomas until a few years ago, so in order to get my hands on these I had to purchase them online. The products I purchase is their famous cleansing oil, 3 lipsticks and their famous sword-like hard formula brow pencil.

Maybelline Lashionista Endless Length Obsession Mascara Review

Hello everyone!

 I would like to do a review on a Maybelline mascara that is exclusive  to Asia only, unfortunately.

It claims:

Volum Express Waterproof Mascara from Maybelline is a waterproof mascara that quickly gives lashes a dramatic look with up to three times more volume. With its patented brush and formula it rapidly thickens lashes without lumping. The mascara suitable for users of contact lenses and allergy sufferers, and it is also available as water soluble and with with a curved brush.

Price on Xtras.co.uk: £5.99

Even though in the product description i took from Amazon said it to be a waterproof mascara. In truth, it is not a waterproof mascara since the waterproof version has a blue packaging. However, it does lengthening my short stubby Asian lashes. Now lets move onto my opinon on the pros and cons of this mascara.

Pros:

1. As mentioned above, it lengthenings almost twice the length of my lashes

2. Does not smudge even though it's not a waterproof mascara

3. One coat is enough to have really long lengthened lashes

4. Really black in color

5. Dries averagely

Cons:

1. No volume, lengthening only

2. Too much fibres for my own personal liking

3. It applies very wet, but does dry down quickly

In addition, it applies very glossy but it does dry down to a semi-matte color.

My Verdict:

Overall, i love this mascara, i think it will become my no.1 favourite as its very hard to find a mascara that works for my short Asian lashes. It feels comfortable and it does not irritate my eyes even though it has many fibres in it. Also, there's no fall out of those fibres when applying the mascara onto the lashes. If you have the same problem as myself who finds it hard to find a mascara that works on your short lashes. Then you can give this mascara a try!

~~Concealers~~ Review~~

Heya guys!

Today i want to share with you the concealers i own.

I'm not a concealer girl, my skin is not flawless but i just prefer to use a high coverage foundation than using a conealer. Maybe the reason to this is due to i can never find the perfect shade of concealer for my skin. I am a NC20 in MAC, but i often use a lighter shade than my actual skintone; usually 1-2 shades lighter or even more, so i would need a huge range of concealer shade for my skin so im not bothered to purchase a whole lot of conealers where i probably would never use up.

Collection 2000-Lasting Perfection Ultimate Wear Concealer in Light

This is a light-medium coverage concealer. This concealer lasts very long and its not very dry and lasts very long. i wouldnt say it would last 16 hours as stated but it does lasts quite a long time.

Tony Moly Mineral Skin-Fit BB Concealer SPF30 in 02

This was bought due to the word 'BB'. I would BB creams and when i came across a BB concealer, i have to had it! This is a light coverage concealer, its nothing special i think. Just a normal concealer, that doesnt create dry lines around eye area.

Benefit-IT Stick

Got this concealer a while ago, it matches my natural skintone very well, and it glides onto the skin very nicely, but it only lasts for around 2 hours. So wouldnt recommend this concealer for people who are looking for a long lasting concealer. This is a light-medium concealer.

Missha- Signature Extreme Cover Concealer in #23

This is the thickest and fullest concealer i have owned. Its a creamy textured concealer and it covers almost any flaws on the skin. It glides on the skin very smoothly, but this concealer is more on the yellow side, which i do not like; as i already have yellow toned skin i do not want to be more 'yellow' than i am now.

Becca Ever-Matte Poreless Priming Perfector Base Review

Heya everyone!

Recently i went to Space N.K again! and they had brought Becca to the store (inner celebration). I always wanted to try out their products. I didnt want to get more foundations as i have many queuing in my drawer for me to use. But i found something that i do not have much *chuckle* and its a base. I have a very oily T-zone so i always wanted my products to be matte and Becca has a famous Matte primer which i have heard many good reviews of this product, therefore, i went ahead and purchase this product.

This product claims to be: 

A targeted oil-control primer that perfects and minimizes pores for mattified skin that lasts up to 12 hours.

Go beyond extending makeup wear to address the root cause of why your makeup moves. This formula specifically targets oil-prone areas and acts as liquid blotting paper to leave your skin fresh and matte all day. Use alone, before, or after foundation to control excess oil, while minimizing the appearance of pores. Feel free to use throughout the day to touch up areas of concern.

This product eliminates excess oil for long-lasting matte skin. The formula is sweat- and humidity-resistant and free of silicone, oil, alcohol, and fragrance.

Texture feels like vaseline and its a clear base

My Verdict: I really like this primer it does exactly what it claims to do, except the poreless part, im not sure does it really minimize my pores as i dont have large pores so the result is not very obvious. The texture is different to my other primers, its thick and have to be quick to spread it around or else it wouldnt spread. I find it hard to use it primer alone, as my foundation does not glide smoothly over skin. I would need to use another light primer on top of this product. The shine-free effect is instant and it lasts very long, however, it does dry out the skin, so i would recommend to use only on specific area where sebum appears the most; T-zone and chin.

Shu Uemura Hard Formula Brow Pencil Hard 9 Review

Heya!

Today I am going to review the Shu Uemura Hard Formula Hard 9 in 02 Seal Brown. At first i wanted to get the Stone Grey, but i heard it was discounted and its not sold in one of the Shu Uemura's stand, so i got the Seal Brown which was similar to the Stone Grey. 

Shade looks like on paper:

Shu Uemura brow pencil gives Natural finish and shape. This unique eyebrow pencil only releases color pigment when it interacts with the oils in the brow hairs. 

The result is natural, defined brows. Smudge-proof and long-lasting. 

It comes with 6 Shades:

In Seal Brown there is a Hard 6, I'm not going to go into that today as its a different product for the brows.

I love this product as it only release the color if it interacts with the oils in your brow hairs that means i do not need to worry that i'll accidentally drew outside my brow shape. This product gives such a natural looking brows and it lasts forever.

The Shu Uemura brow pencil cannot be sharpen by a normal sharpener. It is so hard in material that needs a special sharpener. This need to be brought back to the Shu Uemura store to get it sharpened. This service is free of charge, however, you will have a completely different look of your before-sharped-brow-pencil. Shu Umeura brow pencil will be sharpened into a Naginata Sword. Like this:

It is suppose to be easier to apply product onto the brow, which is so true. Its much more precise in application and i so regret why didnt i got it sharpened at first purchase. This product is 21 euros in Brown Thomas, it may sound pricey for an eyebrow pencil but this thing will last forever!! I dont think i will ever used this up. It is worth the investment in a good brow pencil. 

I wouldn't recommend people would little amount of brow hair as it only releases pigment when it interacts with oil from the brow hair.

Overall: Loving this product. Will i ever re-purchase it. Maybe not as i dont think i will ever use this up so no need for re-purchasing it. LOL! YES i will repurchase it!

PeriPera Haul + Review

Heya

Wassup guys? I finally got a day off today so i can do a Peripera haul which i have received a while ago.
Peripera is Korean brand which had collaborate with 2ne1 (korean girl group) before. I was attracted by their beautiful packaging when i first saw them online. So i couldnt resist and bought a few of their items.

Here are some images:

Peripera Lipstick in 10 Rose Pink and 20 Pink Beige

These lipstick are really pigmented (see below). It glides on smoothly, its lasting power is acceptable, if you dont eat or drink it would last about 4 hours? but you would have to reapply after a meal.

Tint Jelly Stick, Rose Pink, Pink Beige

Peripera Tint Jelly Stick in 03 Orange Stick

This jelly tint gives a subtle color on the lips. Its nice to wear on a casual day. It does feel like gliding jelly across the lips when applying, so it feels kinda fun when using it.However, im not into the scent that it gives off. Its an orange scent but it just doesnt suit my taste so thats the downside of it.

shade #39, #18, #33, #25

 These eyeshadow have great quality and also very pigemented (see below). These doesnt feel chalky and very little to no fall out. I love these and i plan to get the other colors in the near future.
