Summer Show!

I know this is not craft related but working in the yard the last couple weeks I took some snapshots of my clematis and I just could not help but show it to you. This plant extends above the porch and touches the roof. Now I am not a green thumb but this is truly my show- BUT, I hope some of you ladies are green thumbs and can give me some pointers. The "inside" of this plant is dead because last year we had a big wind and it ripped the plant off the trellis, hence it is all brown and I am thinking I need to cut this back and start fresh. Can I do this? Will it come back because that is my ultimate goal. Hope you enjoyed the colorful display!

What is Blog Candy?

Good morning ladies! I just wanted to share with a few of you, for those that are stuck on what blog candy is. I mean, can you eat it? No Can you unwrap it? Well, I guess you can if YOU win it! Can you buy it at the store? Once again- possibly but really, who wants to buy it if YOU can win it!

A lot of wonderfully creative ladies are out there and they offer wonderful little packages of goodies to you- a thank you for visiting their blog. Now, I typically sign up for blog candy if it is a site that I frequent or that I really find creative motivation from that person. It is also a great way to get new viewers to your blog- lets be honest here. But I think that the real thing is that we all like to "give" to others............... and sheesh, who doesn't like to get a little prize here and there, right? (hand waving in air!).

What a week!

So it is Friday evening, just thinking about relaxing and the power goes off! What? it is like 92 degree outside, this is not happening, not on Friday afternoon. Yep, we were without until Saturday afternoon. To say the least it was a hot and very busy weekend and I got no, none, nada and zip stamping done. So- instead you get to see some pictures of my rhodedendron in the front- these beauties have not really flowered since we moved in her 6years ago and this year- they are awesome. So now you say, wait, it is Thursday- what has she been doing and why doesn't she have 'stuff' for us to see today. Well, you might thinkI should but it has been another CRAZY week at work and well- I have been so tired I have not wanted to do anything- so I didn't. Please forgive me, I will work on some stuff tonight and this weekend and get back to you early week.

I will leave you with these, I do not know what they are but they are bushes/trees in my back flower bed and oh so pretty and smell nice too! If you know what they are please let me know.

Computer Fritzzzzzzzzzzzzzz!

I apologize for not posting this weekend ladies. I was in CA last week and thought I could update on Friday but our PC has not been allowing me to upload any photos to the website. So, I apologize for this and will keep working at this issue so I can be back up and posting pics of goodies for you. I am sorry.................. (so sad too!).

In the meantime, as many have noticed I did update my blog- tell me what you think! I also have a friend with a new scrapbooking store, she is just getting it rolled out but check it out there to the right, she has some super cute penquins!

I am waiting on Kimmie to send me a RAK (random act of kindness) that I promised to share and PIF (pay it forward) so be on the look out for that!

Happy New Year!!

Hello ladies! I hope that you all had a wonderful holiday and that you got all those wonderful goodies that you've been wishing for (even if you had to purchase and wrap them yourselves!) Yeah- you all know who you are. I am always amazed and thankful that my husband is a good shopper and likes to purchase my gifts without me knowing. I am like a kid on Christmas, I like to NOT know what I was getting. But I could definately get used to knowing that I will LOVE all my gifts too if I had to! So you go girls!

I was going to post a picture today but for some reason blogger is not allowing me to do that. I had to try a couple times to log in so it must be the system. I am hoping to be back right after the new year with some fun things. As you may know- the new SU catalog is in and I have it in my hands. It is a beautiful catalog (but I like the cover of the last one a little better still) and has some fabulous things in it. For those scrapbookers I am excited b/c I think it has some cool scrapbooking sets too! So, if you've not seen it- call your demo and get your copy!

For those of you local to me- I am going to get an Open House on the calendar so we can do something fun and get the catty in your hands! But for now- you all have a Happy New Year and see you in 2008!

Where is Heidi??????????

Well it has been a busy life week for me and I honestly have done NO crafting, yes, I know, but it is true my dear friends that check in on me so often. I have been deprieved of this hobby but you know what, it feels a little good. Do you feel like sometimes you do so much of one thing that you just don't feel interested in it? Well that has been me (gasp) I know, but I am thinking I will get "it" back in another week when I have a few other committments done.

But I will say, I have found a fun place to hang out and be addicted to: a friend of mine introduced me to a PIF thread over at SCS and boy have I had fun. I have been able to trade off some of my sets I no longer want and get some sets I didn't even know I HAD to have. But seriously, I have gotten some house mouses, bellas, and whipper snappers! Does that not sound like fun? If you've got sets or stamps in general you want to trade- stop on over. It is a fast moving thread and so you better hand on tight and call it if you want it. Update, but no picture today..........

I just wanted to stop by ladies, it was a busy weekend as you can imagine. The craft show was alright, it was fun but not a real business adventure lets put it that way. Couple hundred and that was about it and I still have lots left, I guess I know what friends and family will be getting for the holidays! Thanks to those that stopped by!

Today I added some music to the site, couldn't get on to add photos but maybe later. So, what do you think? I like going on to sites and having a little background music........... hope you enjoy.

I also have 1 more project that I have to get done this week and into the mail for a secret pal. Once I am done with it, I will take a picture and get it on here so you can all see it. It is using my bind it all and Mickey Mouse stuff........ I have it in my head and it is really cute so I hope it turns out and she enjoys it.
