Black & Blue or White & Gold? Inspired by "The Dress"
Hey loves! I usually post on the weekends, but the dress with questionable colors is such a hot topic right now that I just had to post this sooner. I wanted to do this as soon as I saw Tam from ohmygoshpolish do a mani inpired by this dress. I'm sure you all have seen the photo of the dress over the weekend in which some people see as black and blue and others see as white and gold. I saw the dress as white and gold, but apparently the real dress is black and blue!
For my index and pinky I used OPI Eurso Euro and stamped using MoYou London Pro 01 XL in Mundo de Unas Black. For my middle and ring I used Color Club On Cloud Nine and stamped using MoYou London Pro 01 in Mundo de Unas Bronze. So what colors did you all see when you saw the dress? And more importantly, what color are my nails?!

Fifty Shades of Grey Inspired Nail Art
Hey ladies! I'm sure a lot of you have either read or watched Fifty Shades of Grey. I'm almost done with book 2 of the trilogy and I just watched the movie this weekend. I love the books so far, but the movie was alright. Anyways, I did these Fifty Shades of Grey inspired nails using the OPI Fifty Shades of Grey collection, duh! Here's OPI Cement the Deal stamped using Bundle Monster BM-420, Cheeky CH55, and MoYou London Biker 02 in OPI Dark Side of the Mood. The glitter is OPI Shine for Me.
I don't care much for grey on me, but I love this collection, because my hubby went to the nail supply store all by himself to get it for me and surprised me with it along with 2 dozen roses!

Conversation Heart Candy Nail Art
Happy Friday my friends! Today after class I'm going to watch Fifty Shades of Grey. I did a Fifty Shades themed mani and I'll be sharing that with you lovelies on Sunday. Today I have another Valentine's themed design that looks like those adorable little conversation heart candies. I used 4 polishes from the OPI Hawaii collection: That's Hula-rious, Suzi Shops & Island Hops, Is Mai Tai Crooked, and Hello Hawaii Ya. I stamped using Bundle Monster BM-425 in Mundo de Unas Reddish.

Creative Shop Stamper Review
Hi friends! Today I have a review of the stamper from Creative Shop, a Ukraine based online shop. I had seen a lot of people starting to use this stamper over the last couple months and when Ksenija of Creative Shop asked me if I wanted to review the stamper I jumped at the opportunity. The stamper is made out of a unique material unlike any of the other stampers I own, has a large silver holder with a unique shape, and did I mention it's huge! Take a look at the size compared to the stamper I currently use from EBay. It also came with a card containing the shop info and doubles as a scraper.
As you can see the Creative Shop stamper on the right is made of a semitransparent soft silicone. It's not as squishy as a "squishy stamper," but still conforms to the nail. It's hard to describe but basically when I press my finger into the center of my regular stamper, the stamper "spills over" the sides as it's so soft. If I do that with the Creative Shop stamper, my finger still goes deep into the stamper, but it doesn't "spill over" the sides if that makes sense.
All of the thin lines transferred very well, but I will note that compared to my other stamper, the lines are a little finer. If I were to compare it to fonts, I would say my regular stamper transfers "bold" and the Creative Shop stamper transfers "regular." This is something that would be a matter of preference as sometimes I want my images bold and there are other times where I want to do something that won't cover up too much of my base.

Gold stamping over Matte Black
Hi lovelies! I started school again this week which was no fun, but that just means I'm another week closer to graduating. Today I have some gold stamping over matte black. I was inspired from a notebook I saw in a post from Makeup and Beauty blog. I love when I see something and immediately have a nail idea pop into my head. It happens a lot, but I forget most of my ideas probably because I know I won't have time to execute them all.
For this mani I used China Glaze Liquid Leather and then topped it off with Essie Matte About You. Then I stamped using MoYou London Pro 01 and Konad M59 in Mundo de Unas Gold. I just placed another order from Mundo de Unas and I can't wait to get all my new stamping polishes next month so I can do more color combinations especially for the upcoming Spring and Summer months!

Disney's The Princess & the Frog Inspired Nail Art
Hello again my darlings! As I mentioned in my last post, I went to Disneyland about 2 weeks ago. I of course couldn't go to Disneyland without some Disney themed nails. I went through my plates and came up with something inspired by Disney's The Princess and the Frog movie. I used Essie Play Date and Bettina Pink Bikini for the base and stamped using MoYou London Explorer 13 (Mardi Gras mask), MoYou London Princess 07 (frog prince), Rica GLAM-01 (lips), and Bunny Nails HD-C (voodoo doll) in Mundo de Unas 21, 29, and 38. I really loved how these turned out, but even more--I loved Disneyland!! It was probably my fifth time going, but it was my 2nd time going with my husband and it was a blast. We've already started planning another Disneyland & California Adventure trip soon.
Here's a couple of pictures of us at Disneyland

2 Color Peacock Feather Stamping Tutorial
Hi again friends! I'm so sorry it's been 4 months since I last posted anything on here. I got my first nursing job in February and it's full time plus I was still going to school part-time so that pretty much occupied all of my time. I felt like I was drowning in life for the past few months. I'm still working full-time, but I'm on summer break right now so I hope to post as much as I can this summer before school starts back up again in the fall. I've totally missed blogging and all of you guys so much. For those that are still following me, thanks for sticking with me!
Here's a mani I did back in January that's inspired by Craftynail. I finally got around to editing the video that goes with it so that's why I saved posting it until now. I used China Glaze Mingle with Kringle and stamped using MoYou London Pro 05 XL in Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Night Flight and Konad Green. Hope you guys enjoy the tutorial. See you soon!

Saran Wrap Smush & Triangles with MoYou London Pro 02 XL
Hey lacquer lovers! I had naked nails for a few days last week and when I finally had time to paint my nails, I didn't know what to do! Do you guys ever find yourself in the same dilemma? I decided to do a mani on my to try list of manicures that other wonderful people have created. This was inspired by Leyamonster's design. I started off with a base of Morgan Taylor All White Now and then did the saran wrap smush (blob different colors onto your nail and lightly smush with saran wrap to blend) with Morgan Taylor Lip Service, Morgan Taylor Invitation Only, and Essie in the Cabana. Then I stamped using MoYou London Pro 02 XL in Konad White. I really like how these turned out. It's always nice when you want to re-create something and it comes out right =]

Tiffany & Co. Inspired Present Nails
Good morning! Oh man I'm so glad the weekend is here. This week has been really busy. I finally had some time to do a stamping mani a couple nights ago. I've been doing so many swatches lately that I can't tell you how much I miss stamping--my one true love next to my hubby and nail polish of course! I had this mani all planned out when I first saw this image on a MoYou London plate. I used Essie Where's My Chauffeur and stamped using MoYou London Festive 03 XL in Konad White. The silver texture polish is OPI Liquid Sand It's Frosty Outside. I have one ring from Tiffany & Co. and man that packaging really is gorgeous. If you don't have anything from there, you can always do Tiffany inspired nails!
Also, I entered these into MoYou London's December stamping contest for a chance to win some plates. Please re-pin and like this pin. Re-pins are worth double. You can vote for me by re-pinning and liking HERE. Thanks in advance! <3

Catching Fire Inspired Nails
Hi friends! I was trying to go to sleep right now, but I can't. Partially because I took a caffeine pill this morning to stay awake to do homework and partially because I'm too excited to share this mani with you. I finished reading Catching Fire about a week ago so I could finish it before the movie comes out. If I could do freehand nail art, I would've drawn a mockingjay pin, but since I can't I got creative. I decided to do a mani inspired by Katniss's wedding dress she wore in her interview before the Hunger Games. I used so many polishes for this mani I don't think you want to know, but I'll go ahead and tell you anyways.
For my index and middle I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls and stamped using MoYou London Pro 06 XL in Essie No Place like Chrome. On my ring finger I did a gradient first using creme polishes and then with some shimmery polishes. The colors I used are: OPI All I Want for Christmas is OPI, OPI My Paprika is Hotter than Yours, China Glaze Happy Go Lucky, China Glaze Bend over Backwards, China Glaze Riveting, and OPI Oy Another Polish Joke. I stamped using MoYou London Pro 05 XL in Konad Black. My pinky has OPI Liquid Sand Emotions.
Whew that was a lot of polish! That might be a record for me for most polishes used in one manicure lol. I'm going to watch the movie on my birthday this Sunday. Can't wait! Who else is going to watch Catching Fire this weekend?

Bundle Monster Revised 2010 Nail Stamping Plate Collection Review
Happy Humpday! Today I have something "new and improved" to show you. It's actually old and improved, but that just doesn't sound as cool does it? Bundle Monster has revised their 2010 set of 21 nail stamping plates. The full size and french tip images have been enlarged to match the size of their other sets (2011, 2012, and 2013 sets) and now the set consists of 23 plates. I've had the old 2010 set since they came out with it, but to be honest, I have used the set about 6 times over the past 3 years. I have tried using it more, but some of the images just weren't engraved deep enough and the others were just too small. Here's a look at the revised set.
The plates come in this recloseable pouch.
The plates all come with the protective blue film that needs to be removed before use.
They also have a protective backing. I'm a stamping O.G. and when their first set was released, there was no backing on the plates at all so this is a nice change from the old set.
Here's an image I had trouble using the first time around. With my Konad stamper, I wasn't able to pick up the image at all before, but now I have an XL squishy stamper that picks up images better. Even with my squishy stamper, you can see a noticeable difference in how the images pick up and transfer.
I was finally able to create this fall manicure I had in my head for years with the new set! I used She' Nail Polish Lyght and stamped using BM 004 in Konad Green, Konad Red, and Sally Hansen Insta-Dri Orange Impulse.
Here I tested out the full nail images and they have full coverage and transfer perfectly. I used Color Club Eternal Beauty and stamped using BM 016 in OPI Miss You-Niverse. I just reversed the colors on the accent nail.
I saved the best for last. Here's a mani I've been wanting to recreate ever since I saw it on Rebecca Likes Nails page in 2011, but the image was too small. I love how it turned out and that the zebra print is chunkier than every zebra print stamp I have seen. I used OPI Kiss Me on My Tulips, Color Club Pucci-licious, and China Glaze Sunday Funday and stamped using BM 022 in Konad Black.
Below you can see how much the size improved. Now they're the same size as all other BM sets.
You can click these for enlargement to see the images up close. It's a bit hard to see since I resized the pics, but the flowers on BM 012 and the leaves on 023 aren't engraved deep enough so I won't be able to use those images.
I'm so happy that Bundle Monster decided to revise this set because now I can actually use them! Aside from the 2 images that aren't engraved deep enough, the set is engraved better and the images are larger. It's rare, but if any of your images aren't etched deep enough, contact BM and they will be happy to replace them for you. Bundle Monster is known for their wonderful customer service. The only downside about this set is that it has more French tip designs and single images and less full nail designs than their other sets. You can purchase this revised set here for $17.99. I'm pretty sure coupon code "thanks" is still valid until November 15, 2013 to get 10% off your order.

Card Themed Twin Nails
Good morning! I don't know if how many of you follow nail accounts on Instagram, but there's something called "Bestie Twin Nails" where two users collaborate to do the same manicure and post them together. Yesterday I did my very first Bestie Twin Nails with Nail Stamp Fanatic. We went for a mani using advanced stamping technique, card theme using red, black, and white, and 2 images on PUEEN 34. For these types of twin manicures, the users can either do similar nails and just pick things like colors and design, or do an all out matching manicure. That's what we decided to do. I used OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls, China Glaze Liquid Leather, and OPI The Spy Who Loved Me and stamped using PUEEN 34 in Konad Black and Konad White. I just learned advanced stamping last week, and I have to say I'm really pleased with how these turned out. This twin thing was really fun to do and Nail Stamp Fanatic and I are already planning on doing a holiday one! Since advanced stamping is new to my content, here's a link to the tutorial I used by none other than Nail Stamp Fanatic! Have any of you taken part in Bestie Twin Nails?
