Hello Friends
Gosh! How did Tuesday get here so quickly? It does not seem a week since I shared a layout with you!
You may recall that I went on a Playground outing recently and we called by Flutterbys for a little spend - that is what us Girlies like to do. Well I saw this Bella! Kinda Krafty Papers - Count the Ways paper (NBUS) and could not resist buying it for a layout about my Man! My favourite line on here is "You are the Laces to My Sneakers, though I could not get a whole line on view with my design. Never mind ey!
I first mounted the photo onto Kraft paper, then mounted it again on some dark brown cardstock which was in my Snippets drawer. I also added some paper turns which are VOS/ancient!
I had a good rummage through my Snippety tin for some
embellishments as I knew there was another Cool Dude tab which I made using my
Silhouette and I had made the UTEE heart some time ago and knew it would sit
nicely on the bottom of the larger “ribbon”.
I did a little doddling around the “ribbons” to add a little
more interest as well as rubbing some gold wax around some areas, having
already sprayed the background piece with Cosmic Shimmer before I started.
The stripey paper is some VOS from Papermania that I must
have had several years now. It is an A5
pad and I believe it was free when I joined Docrafts.
The title UR
was made using Grungeboard attached to a miniature tag cut from a Snippet of
MME, inked with Antique Linen first before using a TH stamp and Archival ink.
I cut the flourish using a TH die and glitter paper which
just happened to be left over from some C projects. The Rosettes were made for previous projects
and were just in the Snippety Tin waiting to be used. The tab also came out of the Snippety tin and
behind it is a tag with a message for Mr Hettie’s eyes only.
The Flags were all cut using my SU punch and the stars were stamped using my Wendy Vecchi stamp.
I took a key and a charm out of my “special lickle fings”
box – well, he is worth it!
As this layout is covered with Words I am going to put it into the Our Creative Corner Challenge which this month is Words! There are some clever folk over there so please do go and have a lookie!
Of course, this will be going to the Playground too as there are Snippets galore on here. I shall have a cuddle with Parsnip again too!

We are having a few problems with it at the moment, hence my not calling by to see you the last two evenings. I shall have a pop around lunchtime and hopefully later.
