Bosslady left early because she wasn't feeling well. I was at work late on Friday with the vet so I took my comp time this afternoon and did 16 miles with Oz. I wish I'd had my helmet cam! We rode all the way out to Birch Creek. On the way home, there were snow geese filling the entire yearling paddock at Fair Winds. The kids were scared to death of the noisy white birds and were huddled in their shed. That is, they were hiding until they spotted Ozzy. I swear they see him as some kind of fearless leader. When they saw us cantering along the fence line, they decided they could follow too. So Ozzy and I led the charge, us on one side of the fence, a herd of a dozen yearlings on the other, snow geese everywhere, and traffic at a stand still to watch the performance. It was Very Cool.
Ughh, still so jealous! Me wants to ride outside again! I wish you'd had your helmet cam as well, especially for the yearlings. How cute!
