Last Christmas our two grandchildren visited us for a couple of days. On Christmas Day morning the two sat in there chairs for breakfast.

I have used this sketch from Stuck?!

Papers and embellishments are from the July kit from Swirlydoos. Papers from Scrapberry and chipboards from Creative Embellishments.
Some old thickers from my stash.

Here are some closeups:

Baptism

I have had this photo, taken in the church after a christening sermony, printed out for month, just waiting for the right moment to scrap it. Last week I found the June 1 Sketch Challenge at Let's Get Sketchy, and thought it would be great for this photo.

And here is the sketch:

I just had to put on some flowers:

And some closeups on some other embellishing:

Papers and embellishments are mostly from the February 2017 kit from Swirlydoos.

Monument Valley

We visited Monument Valley in November last year, and I have a lot of photos from our stay. When I saw the last sketch at Let's Scrap, I thoght it would be perfect for some of them.
I struggled finding papers that suited my photos, so I had to go through a lot of cardstocks to find some that where good.

Here is my layout:

And here is the sketch 6-1-17:

I had a patterned paper that had four triangels with text on it. Even though the text wasn't that perfect I just loved the triangels so I cut out those and used them,

I colored my chipboards with four different colors of embossingpowders from Lindy's Stamp Gang. I love these embossingpowders and they are great to mix. I just emboss one color at a time without covering the whole chipboard and the colors mix up great.

My journaling:

The tags are cut out of cardstock and patterned papers.

I also enter this page in Scrapp og skravl, monthly challenge, challenge 1 - use ribbon or lace.

June double page inspiration

It's time for more inspiration from the double page team at Stick it Down.

Here is my page:

 And here is the sketch:

Since I don't like to cut photos appart to get them to fit in the middle of a double layout, I choose to make this sketch with two smaller photos on top in the middle of the page. If you like to cut a photo in half and put the two halfes on the edge of the pages, do so. I would love to see that on a page.

For my page I have used photos from Petrified Forest, taken in November last year.
I used several layers of papers (to save some paper I have cut out the middle section of two of them).

The pattern papers are rom Prima, as are the flowers.

Here are some closeups:

I used some micro beads around the flowerclusters and on some of the flowers.

I put my journaling on some cardstock strips, and used tiny alpastickers for the name of the specific place in the National park where these photos are taken. All the journaling is about this place.

Here are three more flowerclusters.

And at last. I used some wordsstrips from Tim Holz for the subtitle. I had Prima Art Alchemy Metallique wax on the edges. I also had some wax on the flowers, but that isn't showing so well.

Hope you will try to make a layout based on the sketch and play with us at Stick it Down. You have until June 30, to enter.
We pick out one random participant who get this prize:

Monument Valley

Round Robin - Go Green

Round Robin for March at Swirlydoos has the theme Go Green.

I had two gorgeous layouts to follow and lift.

Here is my layout:

The photo is of an old, damaged stove. We found it by an old ruined house out in the wood one day we were out for a walk. I love the colors and patina on it.

I made a large bow with a green burlap ribbon:

I think this feather, which we got in the January kit from Swirlydoos (from which kit also the papers and the button are) were great for this photo.

The theme Go Green should be shown by the color green, recycle something and using an outdoor photo. I found two old packaging that I recycled. One of them I cut in two and the one part I fussycut and used with my flowercluster:

I used som gesso with a stencil and dripped some mist around.

Ice skating worship

Last winter we wanted to have a worship outdoors. The local sportsteam has an Ice Skate Festival on the local lake. We asked if we could have a worship in their tent. They said yes, and the first Sunday after the Festival we had the worship.
Since I got these photos from one of the one who attended I have wanted to do something with them.

When I saw this sketch at Let's Scrap, I thought it would work perfect for these photos.

The papers and most of the embellishments are from the Desember 2016 kit from Swirlydoos.

I used some snowpaint on the metallic snowflakes and put some bells on them.

I used the same paint with a stensil to make snowflakes around.

Stick it Down double page inspiration

It's time for the rest of the double page team at Stick it Down to show our inspiration layouts for the double page sketch.

I have used photos from a trip to the US last year showing the great Rocky Mountains. I have used papers and embellishments from the September kit from Swirlydoss, with papers from BoBunny, Prima flowers and chipboards from Creative Embellishment.

Here is the sketch:

It's still time to play along with us this month. You have until October 31.

I let the chipboards without any treatment this time, I think the long filmstrips looked great on this page with all the 4x6 photos.

For the title I used three different types of letters. For Rocky I used a QK alphabeth, for mountain I used some letter stickers from BoBunny (came in the kit) and for national park I used some square alphastickers.

I alos used a sticker for an additional text, below my photos, together with a filmstrip and some flowers.

All patterned papers got a touch of distress ink on the edges.

With this layout I also take part in the challenge Prosjekt2016 at Scrappeland, challenge 1 for october is an inspiration photo:
