NSD #3 Challenge at Let's Scrap

Yesterday I loaded up a new Challenge at Let's Scrap.
We are celebrating NSD (National Scrapbook Day) a whole month and the gallery are already flowing over with beautiful projects. Our members and DT are so creative these days.

My challenge is to use edge punches or/and to tear the paper.

For inspiration I made this page:

I have used three edge punches on this layout and I did tear some of the edges too. The patterned papers I've used are from an old kit from Swirlydoos and match each other very well.

I also made a rosette using edge punch:

Here are the birdcage and the bird I used in one of the corners, they are painted randomly with some gesso and acrylic silks.

The NSD challenges will go through the whole month, so you have until May 31, to participate.

Scrap your stash at Let's Scrap

Every month there is a new challenge in the Scrap your stash group at Let's Scrap.
Every third month one of them who has made all challenges the last three months is picked out for a little prize.

I have made all the first three months this year.
For the Februrary challenge we were to use
2 patterned papers
border punch - somewhere on your project
a tag - homemade or from your stash
3 buttons - either actual buttons or paper buttons
a bit of bling!!

I made this page with photos from Kristiansand Dyrepark (Kristiansand Zoo), wich is a Zoo and amusement park. I used LS sketch 11-23-11.

The photos are taken in Kardemomme by, a village build up in the park after a story made by Torbjørn Egner, a norwegian writer. It's a childs story and very well known in Norway. In the village you can meet the characters from the story and they play some of it. We see three of the characters in the photos, Tobias in the tower, aunt Sofie and chief of police Bastian.

Some details:

I've used a edge punch and a stencil with som glittery paint.

Some of the embellishments, I used buttons in the middle of the flowers.

And the tag on which I later have put my journaling about this day:
