Feeling Sketchy Sketch #248

It's  November and we have a new sketch for you at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog today.

Here is my inspiration card:

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

I found a background paper with a circle of flowers and used it instead of a circle of words. Instead of the flowercluster I used a digistamp from Fred She Said, Christmas Pointsetta Lantern.

I used a die from Scrapmagasinet for my sentiment and put it together with my digistamps.

In the middle of the circle I stamped  a verse from a noerwegian christmas carol.

You have until November 30th to join us over at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog.

Feeling Sketchy sketch #203

We're in the middle of October and we are having some really warm days. After a cold start of this month we've had a week with temperatures over 10 degrees celcius, and even up to 18-20 degrees in the middle of the day. That's very unusual this time of year. It makes the nature explode in colores day after day, since the leaves stays on the trees an are showing off in yellow, orange and red.

It's time for a new sketch at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog, sketch #203.

As you saw last time I've started making this years Christmas cards and I have another for you based on the new sketch.

And here is the sktech, made by Bev.

I've used the Poinsetta & Holly  precolored digistamp for this card. It't the same bundle as my last card. There are so many nice images in this bundle, so I just wanted to make another card using more of them.

Onn this card I've used a precolored stamp for the top square in the sketch. This come as you see, but with a sentiment where I've put my sentiment, I just wanted to have it in norwegian.

I've fussycut two white poinsettas and put over the one on the piece to get more interest to the card. I put them on 3D pads for the dimension.

I did this in bothe corners.

I cut out some poinsettas in white cardstock with a set of dies from Spellbinders, distressed them a little and put on in the lower corner and one up on the other side of the sentiment.

Feeling Sketchy sketch #202

It's October, and here we have had a night with degrees below zero degrees Celsius. The autumn is here, and it's a great time for making cards, and why not start on the Christmas cards?

A new months means a new sketch at Feeling Sketchy Challenge blog.

My inspiration card is a Christmas card:

I used the the pre-colored set Poinsetta and Holly. With this set you get a lot of different options to print out, and the poinsettas are in red and white. I used red ones on this card.

I fussy-cut one large poinsetta with hollies. For easier assambling I cut off the hollies and glued them in space again on the background, after I had put together the poinsetta in two and three layers with 3D pads.

I used three smaller poinsettas for the three cirkles on the left side in the sketch. These were also fussy-cut and I used 3D pads under some of the petals.

I places the sentiment (Merry Christmas) on a banner over one of the ponsettas.

I have used the Christmas Poinsetta Lanntern Set on my card. I used the precolored lanntern and poinsettas. I fussycut one set of poinsettas which I put on 3D gludots over the other image, for a 3D effect..

I stamped my sentiment with a stamp from North Star Design, on white cardstock.

The patterned papers are from Lemoncraft, Christmas Greetings.

Feeling Sketchy sketch #165

It's time for a new sketch at Feeling Sketchy.

Here is my take on it:

Here is the sketch, #165:

Jen Leeflang sitt bilde.

Cathy Van de Bruinhorst sitt bilde.

I have used Lenten Rose or Christmas Rose, the pre-coloured set.

I printed out two of the same colour and cut out the flower from one of them, put it on the other with 3D adhesive pads in three different hights for more effect.
I also used some stickles to highligt some points.

I also put one of the three pieces of paper on the left hand of the card on 3D adhesive pads, to let the sentiment stand out too.
