I made a manger scene with a die-cut set from Cottage Cutz and made a cluster wit it and som mor pointsettas.

I stamped my sentiment on a cut out piece and put it on 3D pads for some dimension.

Feeling Sketchy Sketch #248

It's  November and we have a new sketch for you at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog today.

Here is my inspiration card:

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

I found a background paper with a circle of flowers and used it instead of a circle of words. Instead of the flowercluster I used a digistamp from Fred She Said, Christmas Pointsetta Lantern.

I used a die from Scrapmagasinet for my sentiment and put it together with my digistamps.

In the middle of the circle I stamped  a verse from a noerwegian christmas carol.

You have until November 30th to join us over at Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog.

Feeling Sketchy, sketch #247

It's October, and the fall is coloring the trees in such great colors.

At the Feeling Sketchy Challenge blog we have a new sketch up for you to play with.

I've started making my Christmas cards, so here is my take on this month sketch:

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

I used a set of dies from Spellbinder for my swirls and flowers.

Instead of a swirl under the sentiment I stamped a silhouette stamp with Christmas motive. Here you see the shepherds outside Betlehem.

And my sentiment follow up this. It says "A child is born in Betlehem". It's the first words of a well known norwegian Christmas hymn.

You have until October 31th to join in and play with us.

And here is the sketch made by Bev:

Here is a closeup on the image I used in the centre of the doily and the sentiment, which I put on 3D pads, for some dimension.

I used one pointsetta and some holly leaves instead of the butterflies in the sketch. And put on some halfpearls and some bling.

Here is my take on the sketch:

And here is the sketch made by Bev:

Ingen bildebeskrivelse er tilgjengelig.

I rotated the sketch 90 degrees to the right.
I used papers from Pion Design for the image and the panels.

I used cheescloth under the image, and my sentiment is a small stamp saying Congratulations.

I used flowers instead of the bow in my upper right corner.

I distessed the edges on the papers and used distress inks on them for a little vintage look.

You have until July 31th to play along with us.

I punhed out some small butterflies and scattered out on my card.

The sentiment is a die from Scrapmagasinet.

Feeling Sketcy sketch #242

It's already June and we have a new sketch at the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog today.

Here is my take on it:

And here is the sketch made by Bev:

Bildet kan inneholde: tekst

I stamped my sentiment right on the pattern paper and put on some faux stitching over and under it.

I put in ac chipboard branch so it looks like the bird on the paper sits on the branch. For more interest at cut out some leaves and put on the branch.

I made another card based on the same sketch:

Here the sentiment is a cut out with a die and put on 3D-pads. I put two leaves under the butterfly.

Here you can see how I also made some dimension on the leaves.

You can join us until June 14th.

Feeling sketchy sketch #240

It's ane month, it's May, and we have a new sketch up at the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog.

Here is my inspiration card:

And here is the sketch, made by Bev:

Ingen bildebeskrivelse er tilgjengelig.

I turned it like this and made my card. I used a quote I found on a paper for the sentiment. I thought it was a good quote in this time. We are in lockdown in many countries. Here in Norway we are told to keep a distance of 2 meter from other people, and the smile is very important when we meet other people, and it's relly the shortest distance between us now.

I made a small flower cluster.

Her we see more of the crystalswirl.

You have until May 14th to join in and make something based on this sketch.
