The winner will get a 12$ gift card to the shop.

I've used the image Bluebell and colored it with Prima watercolors.

I put a panel behind the image and 3D-foam behind that.

The sentiment is stamped directly to the background paper.

Come join in on our first challenge in October.

I've used the image Vintage School Teacher, and colored it with Prisma Color Pencils.

The sentiment is a stamp I have, and it says "old days".

I put my image on a piece of cardstock and 3D pads, so it pops up.

I embellished with flowers in two of the corners.

You'll have unti June 30th to make a card based on the sketch and put it up on the Feeling Sketchy Challenge Blog.

I have used the digistamp A Special Gift for my card.
I colored it with distress ink using a waterbrush.

On the background paper I used distress ink over a stencil.

Here are some closeups on that and the flowers I used as embellishments.

The flowers were made using a die from Spellbinder, distressink, halfperl and combining that with some holly leafs from a Martha Stuart punch.

Feeling Sketchy sketch #184

Happy New Year!

What's better to start a new year with than a new card sketch at Feeling Sketchy?

I have made a Christmas card using our first sketch for 2018.

Here is the sketch, made by Bev Code

I have used the digistamp Gentle Baby for my card.

I colored it with distress inks, using a water brush. Since a printed the stamp on a inkjet printer I had to be very careful with the lines and not use too much water.

Here is another closeup on the embellishments. I have used two different dies and a punch to get this flowercluster.

I used a textstamp saying "A child is born in Betlehem".
