This card was made for a card class for beginners, as I had this winter. I've completely forgotten to post it in my blog, but this week's challenge at Sukkersött (don't use any coloured stamped images) was the reminder I needed - so here it is :)
The image is fastened in the corners with glue dots, so the tag can be placed under it...
At this class I tried to use several ways of decorating a flower - metal stars, brads, and buttons.
We didn't use the time for colouring, so to put some "life" in the image, we stamped the butterfly at green cardstock and curled it a little. I thought it turned out to be a lovely effect, because the hedgehog  seems to be looking at the butterfly :)
At the inside there's more hedgehogs ~ two cuties on their way to celebrate :)
A segment from the back, where we used some left overs and a lovely stamp :)
Have a lovely Tuesday evening, thanks for stopping by :)

I've made this card to join in for the Friday Sketchers this week, as I found the sketch so great (no wonder, as it's Heidi who has created it...) Well, they also have a fantastic prize this week ;)
I've used pattern paper from Heidi Grace Designs and one of the napkins from Camilla's blog candy behind the image, which is my new stamp from Penny Black :) I've used my SU ticket corner punch for the background paper and the tag. I really love this image :) I painted the teddy with Distress Ink 'vintage photo' and 'tea dye', and the hammock is a mix of 'faded jeans' and 'broken china'. Looks like he's enjoying summer, this cute little one :) I tried to make a sky with my SU Scallop Circle punch.
Close-up to show you some details. The blue MM ribbons are tied together with some linen thread and a water can. To make it stay there, I've used a needle I got from Camilla :) I've used my horizontal slot punch through the entire card, so that the checked ribbon could be thread... ... to be a part of the inside :) I've also written a little poem that I really like, and placed it here. Detail from the back of the card, quite simple made.
Good night, sleep tight :) See you tomorrow!
