I'm so pleased to be invited to join the Cuttlebug Mania team as their Guest Designer for the 'Make a Project with the Easter Bunny' challenge. My project is a one sheet bag that I've decorated with an Easter rabbit and filled with small Easter eggs.
I'm entering the Cardz 4 Galz 'Flora or Fauna' challenge and the Dies R Us 'Anything Goes' challenge. The card and ribbon are from my snippets drawer so I'm also heading into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
Joanna Sheen 'Easter Rabbit', Spellbinders Shapeabilities 'Garden Weave', Creative Expressions 'Pierced Tags' dies
Kars tan embossing mat
Woodware 'Regular Daisy' punch, hole punch
Stampendous 'Joyous Easter' stamp
Versafine Vintage Sepia ink
Hunkydory 'All Things Bright and Beautiful' paper
Snippets of brown pearlescent card, green textured card. pink, black, white and gold matt card.
I scored down each long edge of the A4 paper at 2½ inches and down each short side at 4½ inches, and folded along the score lines a few times to make them flexible. With the patterned side of the paper facing down and the paper in portrait position I brought the long narrow panel over the middle panel and folded it back diagonally. This was repeated on all corners. (If these instructions don't make sense, they can be found in the 'Everyone Needs A Hougie 2' booklet.) I decorated the bag before the final assembly as I find this easier.
I die cut and embossed the Garden Weave from green textured card, trimmed it slightly so it was the same width as the bag and attached it to the front. I die cut the Easter Rabbit from brown pearlescent card, the ears from pink card, nose from black card and bow from gold card before attaching them to the bag. I punched six daisies from white card and three small circles from gold card to make the double layer daisies which were attached to the lower edge of the bag. The bag was assembled by gluing the sides and I punched two small holes in the top. I stamped the sentiment onto white card before die cutting and embossing the tag. To finish I fastened the bag with white ribbon, attached the tag and tied the ribbon in a bow.

Happy Birthday
I made this card for a friend who's a keen cyclist and am entering The Male Room 'Wheels' challenge, Seize the Birthday 'Inlaid die-cutting' challenge, Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes', Crafty Friends 'Anything Goes' challenge and Crafty Hazelnut's Patterned Paper Challenge.
Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Die: Joanna Sheen 'Road Bike'
Stamp: Hobby Art 'Happy Birthday'
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black
Card: Black matt
Paper: Joy Crafts 'Earth Bloc'
Other: Wink of Stella
I die cut the road bike from black card and set it aside. I trimmed the paper to a square and die cut the bike from the lower edge. The paper was then layered onto black card and I inlaid the bike and paper pieces. To ensure the inlaid pieces were flat and glued down well, I placed a piece of plain card over the paper and ran it through my Cuttlebug. The panel was then attached to the card front. To finish I stamped the sentiment in the top corner and highlighted it with a Wink of Stella.

BBQ Birthday
I made this card for the Cuttlebug Mania 'BBQ Time' challenge and am also entering Seize the Birthday 'Anything Goes' challenge, Crafty Friends 'To Use Your Dies' challenge and Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge 'Anything Goes'. The card and paper are from my snippets drawer so I'm also popping across to the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
Card blank: 6" x 6" white silk
Stamp: Bugaboo 'Guy BBQ' digi
Die: Spellbinders Nestabilities 'Wonky Rectangles', Memory Box 'Wicker Panel, Joanna Sheen Signature Dies 'Star Bunting'
Embossing: Kars tan embossing mat
Colouring: Promarkers
Other: Computer Generated Sentiment 'Ravie' font
Snippets: Black and red card, Hot off the Press 'Cardmaker's Floral Pack'
I trimmed the beige paper, layered it onto black card and attached it to the card front. I resized the digi and added the sentiment before printing it onto white card. This was die cut and embossed with the largest Wonky Rectangle before being coloured with Promakers. I die cut the Wicker Panel from red card and attached it across the lower section of the card. I attached small pieces of card to the top and bottom of the rear of the panel before attaching it to the card - this ensured that it lay flat across the Wicker Panel. To finish I die cut the Star Bunting and attached it to the top corner of the card.

Little Cowboy
I used another pre-coloured Lili of the Valley topper for this card for a young boy's birthday. I'm entering it into The Male Room 'Babies and Little Boys' and Little Claire Designs 'Just Add Bunting' Challenges. I've used more snippets so I'm also in the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.
Card blank: 7" x 7" white silk
Image: Lili of the Valley 'Yee Haa' pre-coloured topper
Die: Joanna Sheen 'Star Bunting'
Punch: Woodware Star
Snippets: Brown card and blue paper
I layered the blue paper onto brown card and attached it to the card front. The pre-coloured topper was trimmed slightly so it was a little smaller than my second snippet of brown card, the topper was then layered onto the card and attached to the card front. I die-cut the bunting and attached it to the top corner of the card. Three of the small stars from the die-cut were added to the topper. I then punched three small stars and attached them to the lower corner of the card.
