September Rudolph Day

I had made this card for Rudolph Day before going on holiday so I could ensure I didn't miss this challenge.  This card incorporates dry embossing - embossing is my RD theme this year.

I trimmed the edges of a snippet of dark blue pearlescent card and embossed the snowflakes.  I rounded the corners before attaching it to the card blank.  I die cut 'Let it Snow' from a snippet of white matt card before embossing it and attaching it to the centre of the card.  To finish I added small turquoise metal nailheads to the snowflakes on the die cut sentiment.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 4" white matt card blank
Creative Expressions 'Festive Collection - Let it Snow' die
     Darice 'Snowflake Background' embossing folder
     Kars tan embossing mat
     Woodware Regular Corner Rounder punch
Snippets of dark blue pearlescent and white matt card
     Turquoise small metal nailheads

I am entering the following challenges:
     Rudolph Day - September Challenge
     Pixie's Snippets Playground - Challenge 387

March Rudolph Day

My final card today is a Christmas card for the Rudolph Day challenge - this one uses dry embossing.

I embossed a piece of white card and trimmed it before layering it onto a piece of dark blue foiled card and attaching it to the card front.  I die cut the 'Let it Snow' from the dark blue foiled card and used strong glue to attach it to the centre of the card.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 4" white matt card blank
Creative Expressions 'Festive Collection - Let it Snow' die
     Darice 'Snowflake Background' embossing folder
Snippets of dark blue foiled card and white matt card

S for Snow and Snowman

I made this card for a few of my favourite challenges using a cute Lili of the Valley precoloured image.

I die cut and embossed a red circle using the two largest dies and then layered them onto another large red circle.  I die cut and embossed the precoloured image and inlaid it into the frame.  I embossed a piece of white card with snowflakes, trimmed it and layered onto red embossed card leaving a 6mm border around the edges (this is the same width as the circle frame).  The panel was attached to the card blank with the image in the centre.

To make this card I used:
     6" x 6" white matt card blank
Lili of the Valley 'Winter Wonderland' Art Pad
My Favourite Things 'Inside & Out Stitched Circle STAX Die-namics' dies
     Darice 'Snowflake Background' embossing folder
Red embossed and white matt card

I am entering the following challenges:
     Allsorts - Snowman and/or Snowflakes
Alphabet Challenge - S is for Snow
The Cutie Pie Challenge - Christmas Cuties

Let It Snow

My final card today is one I made for the Allsorts 'White on White' challenge and I'm also entering a few of my other favourite challenges.

I embossed a piece of card with snowflakes, trimmed the panel and rounded the corners before attaching it to the front of the card.  I die cut 'Let It Snow' twice and layered them to give some depth  before attaching the sentiment to the centre of the card.  To finish I added some tiny clear gems to the centre of the snowflakes on the sentiment.

To make this card I used:
6" x 4" tent fold white hammer card blank
Creative Expressions 'Let It Snow' die
     Darice 'Snowflake Background' embossing folder
     Woodware corner rounder punch
     White hammer card
     Small clear gems

June Rudolph Day

It's time for another Rudolph Day and another Christmas tree card.   One little tip I found useful when making this card is to attach the self adhesive glitter sheet to a piece of thin card as it made it easier to attach to the embossed background.

To make this card I used:
5" x 5" ice gold pearlescent card blank
Creative Expressions 'Festive Collection - Christmas Tree Greetings' die
     Darice 'Snowflake Background' embossing folder
     Bronze adhesive glitter sheet
Ice gold pearlescent card and thin bronze matt card

I'm entering the following challenges:
Christmas Kickstart Challenge 'Glitter, Sparkle & Shine'
Happy Little Stampers Anything Goes with Dies 'June Challenge'
Happy Little Stampers Christmas Challenge 'June Anything Goes'
     Rudolph Day 'June Challenge'

Snowflakes

I made this card for the 52 Christmas Card Throwdown 'Sketch' challenge.  I'm also entering Crafty Hazelnut's Christmas Challenge 'Quick and Easy', the Crafty Gals Corner 'Clean and Simple' challenge and the Crafty Calendar Challenge 'Add Texture and Ribbon'.  As the card was made with snippets I'm also heading into the playground at Pixie's Crafty Workshop.

7" x 5" white matt card blank
Cheery Lynn 'Snowflake Set 2'
Darice 'Snowflake Background' embossing folder
Red nailhead
Snippets of white matt card, green textured card, double sided gold card, Xcut gold adhesive glitter sheet and red snowflake ribbon

I trimmed the white card so it was slightly smaller than the front of the card blank and embossed it. I attached a strip of gold glitter card to a slightly larger strip of green card and attached these across the bottom of the snowflake panel.  I wrapped the ribbon around this border, fastening it at the rear, before attaching the panel to the front of the card.  I attached a small square of glitter card to gold double sided card and die cut the snowflake.  This was attached to the ribbon with tacky glue.  To finish I added a red nailhead to the centre of the snowflake.
