Hello, Ice Cream Girl

Greetings everyone! Happy Friday. It's time for another challenge over at Sister Act Card Challenge. We'd love for you to join us. As always, the challenge is "Anything Goes."

This week we're being sponsored by Bugaboo. I chose to use the image Kidz-Ice Cream. I get in a rut coloring brown hair and decided to go with black this time. I used Copic markers. The flowers came from Micheals and Jo-Ann's. The scalloped shape was cut out on my Cricut using "Scalloped Edges" cartridge.

97th Blog Post Celebration!

In case you didn't come from Sister Act Card Challenge here is a little explanation of what is happening over there today:

Back a few months ago, when Jenn was counting up the challenges to get sponsors and information lined up, she had a very foggy post-pregnancy brain. She counted up what she thought would have been the 100th post and it landed on today. She, along with Trish-who was also recovering from a post-pregnancy brain, planned a big online party for the challenge blog. However, it was noticed that it is not quite the 100th post, but the 97th post. But, hey!!! We like to do things different around here and we're going to celebrate anyways!

Each DT member has graciously offered up some blog candy in celebration of our big milestone and if you follow along the blog hop and the instructions you may earn some extra goodies this week. There will be a prize offered here like normal and an extra random prize for a commenter under this blog. WOW! Lots of fun stuff.

We want to thank all of you for being a huge part of this blog and for showing your support weekly. Our awesome DT members are busy, but they are faithful in sharing their creations with all you card crafters. We love that you stop by and share yours, as well!!

So, without further ado...

HAPPY 97th BLOG POST!!!

The blog hop starts here. I used an older Saturated Canary image to play with this week. Added some lace, frantage, pearls and flowers. Love the vintage look!
If you'd like a chance at winning my blog candy, leave a comment. I'd love for you to become a follower, but it isn't necessary to win the candy.
Your next stop along the hop is Tricia.

Vintage Flowers

Good Morning! Happy Friday and Happy "SpringIsOnIt'sWay!" :) Can you tell I'm ready?

This week at SACC, we're being sponsored by Papers and Petals. This is a new sponsor to us and they have a variety offered in their store: handmade flowers, paper, gifts, scrapbooking tools and supplies. You'll definitely wanna go check them out.

I was able to work with some of their handmade flowers and I was impressed. They were very nicely done with attention to details. I chose to give my card a vintage flair because the flowers reminded me of that. I used Cottage Chic Flowers in two different sizes.
I may or may not have almost caught my card on fire. I used some of that frantage and while I was using my embossing gun, it started to smoke. HA! The wooden embellishments, birds nest, and ribbon all came from Micheals. I embossed the background and then inked over the raised lettering.

Lisbeth and Little Bunnies

Happy Friday, Everyone! Rumor has it there are only 12 days until spring...Wahoo!!! Bring it on! :)

This week at Sister Act Card Challenge, we're being sponsored by MilkCoffee. She has some super adorable digi images and I used Lisbeth and Little Bunnies.
I decided to give dark hair a try. I think I like it...at least it's different from the usual brown color combo I always use.

I never did get my card posted from last week. Good grief! So, I'll post it up here, as well.
I tried to use some of the frantage, but I didn't have the right stuff to adhere it. It was a little interesting to say the least. I bought some ink, so hopefully that will work better.

You make me so very happy!

Happy Friday! This week at Sister Act Card Challenge we're being sponsored by InkandWhimsy2. They are an Etsy shop that sells many digital elements, including some digi stamps.

This week, I played with a new image that I received from Saturated Canary when she ran a donation marathon. It is not available to buy.

I believe the paper is from My Mind's Eye. The big bling is from Micheals.

Friends In Any Weather

Hola Peeps! Happy Monday to you!

It's time for another "anything goes" challenge at Make It Monday. This week we're being sponsored by StampArt Design by Kathryne. I chose to use ARI & TOBY I'd like to say this image reminds me of my daughter like last time, but truth is, she's terrified of dogs! I have no idea why. She thinks they're cute, but don't let them get anywhere close to her. It doesn't matter what size. My son, on the other hand, is obsessed with them. Kids! :)

I used paper from Echo Park and distressed the image with brown ink and stamps from Forever in Time. The majority of the flowers and ribbon came from Hobby Lobby. The "X" bling is from Micheal jewelry making department.

Make a Wish

Good Morning!! How was your weekend? Ours involved a yard sale...need I say more? :)

This was made for Make It Monday using an May Day Birgitta from our sponsor C.C. Designs.
I decided to branch out of my usual brown hair and have another go at black. I really like how it's easier to see the contrast. I used C7, 3, 2.
The paper is from My Mind's Eye and the flowers from all over the place. The "Make a Wish" brad is from Hobby Lobby. I added some white paint for some distressing, but it's kinda hard to see in the picture. The bling looks orange in the corners, but they're red. It was a harder card to get a picture of.

Make It Monday

Happy Monday!!! Welcome to another start of the week. I sure hope this week is wonderful for you!

This week at Make It Monday, we are being sponsored by MilkCoffee. When you check out their digis, you're going to have a hard time picking out your favorite one. Just sayin'. They are generously offering this week's winner the choice of 3!!! I chose to work with:

Unfortunately, I've lost my copic list again. I'm going to have to figure out a better way to keep track of those. The paper is from basicgrey. Added some cheesecloth and lace to give it a vintage feel.

My POTW:
Go show her some love!

Remember, to be in the running to win the prize from our sponsor this week just leave a comment for another entry. Be sure to mention you saw them on Make It Monday. The more entries you comment on the more chances you have of winning!

Got out one of my older Magnolia images to play with tonight. It's been awhile since I've inked her up and she caught my eye, so out she came. Isn't she a cutie? (BTW...do you get out your old images or do they collect dust)?
I followed the sketch from Magnolia Down Under. The bling, wood pieces, pearls, and lace came from Micheals. The flowers are from all over.

This card is for sale. Thank you for considering!

Tea With Tilda

Hello Everyone,

This is my last post for The Rubber Buggy. I would like to thank Kellie for allowing me to be a part of her team. I've enjoyed making all the cards to showcase her merchandise.

I used Joyful Tilda for this card and made it VERY SPRINGY! :)  The majority of the flowers came from Micheals, as did the bling.

Birthday Girl

Hello,

Here again with the Joyful Tilda image. I inked her up with Copics and then cut her out. I cut the "Birthday Girl" out on my Cricut using the Storybook cartridge. The flowers are a wide variety and the paper is some old My Mind's Eye. I then added Stickles to some of the embellishments.

Frame It-DTC

Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Trust you all had a fabulous week last week.

This week's theme for Digital Tuesday Challenge is to "frame it." We're being generously sponsored by My Grafico who is offering any set (no price limit) to the winner. The frame I used is from there; Delicate Frames set by Lil Ellaboudy Design. I just typed up the scripture on photoshop and pasted it in the frame. Then I printed it out of a low design paper. I hand trimmed around the edges and then again on the matte paper. Then I added some "vintage" flair.

Delightfully Cute

I inked up Cocco with Present with Copics. I believe she was intentionally meant to be a Christmas image, but this just shows you you can be versatile with so many of the images. The papers are from waaaay back (My Mind's Eye)-trying to clean out some of my stash. I sometimes have a habit of saving the cute stuff. Dumb, I know! It measures 6x6. The flowers are from a variety of places.

Buttons or Bling-DTC

Welcome to the Digital Tuesday 200th challenge blog hop!!
We are having a blog hop to celebrate alongside our normal challenge, which is "Buttons or Bling" with the added option of making an anniversary card/gift, and we have prizes on the dt blogs as well as a prize for the challenge from our sponsor this week which is Robyn's Fetish who is giving away 5 digital images to one lucky winner.

For a chance to win a prize on the dt blogs all you have to do is comment on each dt blog, then leave a comment on the Digital Tuesday Challenge blog to let us know you have completed the hop. Your name will then be put into the draw and winners will be announced on the challenge blog next Tuesday along with the new challenge.
You can also enter this weeks challenge for a chance to win the Bugaboo prize and if you combine the buttons or bling theme along with something for an anniversary, you will be given an extra entry into the challenge prize draw.

The hop starts at Amy's blog, so you will want to start there.

I used a Wee Stamps digi image for my card. Since it is our anniversary, I went with the "love birds" theme. The main idea is to use buttons or bling and I'm not sure I could have come up with a bigger piece of bling. LOL! I got them at Micheals in their bead section 50% off. Oh, yeah! The paper is so old, I have no idea where it came from. The flowers are a wide variety. Lace and cheesecloth help give it a little vintage flair.

Just leave a comment on this post for a chance to win my prize. I'd love for you to follow my blog, but it isn't necessary to win.

The next stop is Maya's blog.
Here's a list of the hop order in case you lose your way:

Artistic Inspirations-Things with Wings
Created With Love-Anything Goes

Happy Saturday!

I think this card turned out so cute (if I do say so myself). I used a lot of things that have been in my stash FOREVER! I've been trying to be so good and use things up. I would love to go on a scrap shopping spree. Tee hee...
