City Crafter Challenge Blog Week #331 ~ #Selfie

# tag and selfie is a big wave in the social media world, it also appeared a lot in the paper crafting world as well as the two are very much inter-connected, you could see selfie in a lot of layouts and project life spread, you can even find "selfie" dies used quite a bit, so my project today for City Crafter Challenge Blog includes not just #tag, but the world "selfie" too

the frame, #tag and selfie are all my new favorite dies....

I made a few of them, some without the #selfie but I thought I did use a selfie

I hope you stop by City Crafter Challenge Blog and join in the fun!

Project Life 2015 ~ December 15

Project Life 2015

December 15

Today is our 2nd day at Yosemite National Park, we decided to spend as long as we want here at the park and then start driving to Monterey Bay, stay there for a night and then we have all day tomorrow to explore that area and the Pacific Coast Highway.

Bridal Veil Fall was closed yesterday, so we try it again today.... and we are lucky!

there are a lot of beautiful places to take photos....

Papi is enjoying the beautiful snow scene too

 we found a tiny snowman....

everywhere is covered with snow, so so beautiful....

the trees look just like those on the Christmas log cake....

the road is icy, not the easiest to drive, but if you ask me will I come back to Yosemite National Park in the winter again, I would say YES in a heart beat because it is so amazingly beautiful

our drive to Comfort Inn Monterey Bay is smooth, I need to take note because I really like this hotel, they do very good breakfast in the morning and their rate are so reasonable. Mom and sister doesn't really eat dinner (almost every evening), so Lione and I went to a Japanese restaurant run by Koreans and get something back to the hotel, not a good choice (noted, since I know I will be back to this Comfort Inn again)

the boy is so tired after all the playing in the snow

Oh February is ending soon, and I am still posting my December project life... sigh.... when am I going to catch up? : (

Project Life 2015 ~ December 8

Project Life 2015

December 8
My mom, sister, Jesse and I are going to San Francisco today.

Hotels are hard to get these days in San Francisco because lots of tech company set up in the city, I heard that the staff have to live in the car in the office parking lots because it is very hard to get a place to stay, when there is an apartment open up on craig list, within the first two hours, you'll see line of people waiting outside. I found mine on Airbnb, it is a time share apartment but it runs like a hotel, location is great, just a block from Union Square, very convenience!

the room is quite nice, it has a king size bed and the sofa can be open to a queen size bed that sleeps two, perfect for four of us.
After we checked in, we walked around Union Square to look for something to eat

and when we are not looking, these little birdies actually took a bite of my bread....

Union Square looks very festive this time of the year....

we bought a three day Muni pass at Walgreen for $27 and took the cable car to Fisherman's Wharf...

I have been to San Francisco so many times and know the city pretty well, so I have to bring mom and sis to see the cable car turnaround....

after Fisherman's Wharf, we went back to Union Square for Japanese food at Sakana.

My sister and I went shopping after dinner, but mom is tired, so she went back to the hotel to rest, Jesse is happy that he gets to play with his phone in the room as well.

Still working on the December spread, I hope to get it done so I can start my Project Life 2016!
Before I go, I gotta show this photo taken right before we leave for San Francisco that morning, Papi always shows his poor puppy dog face when he knew that I am leaving without him.

Project Life 2015 ~ December 1 to 7

I have the intention to do December Daily in 2015......

I really do.....

I even dig out these old paper and sticker sheets...

my plan is to used up the old products, and stick to very traditional red and green for my December Daily project....

I even make the first journaling card for page one in December.......

it was done last week of November and then......

family arrived one after another, we were busy doing things plus in and out of town, I didn't have time to step into my craft room the whole month of December, so...... time to catch up.....

Project Life 2015

December 1
My sister and Jesse arrived in LAX early today, they will stay a few days in LA with Clare and come to Vegas on Saturday, I was busy cleaning and get ready for a house full of guests in a few days.
Mr. Fox #2 is all done and sitting pretty in our guest room.

December 2
I went shopping all morning, getting some decorations for the holidays and presents for everyone too!

December 3
Randy is away so it is a good time where me the spend the day cleaning and getting the hosue ready for the guests, who will be coming on Saturday.

the mantel look really pretty at night.

December 4
Took Papi to the dog park and then the groom, he gotta look handsome for our guests too!

December 5
I worked in the morning, there was a fire alarm, so we had to take the kids to the open field until the fire department came to clear the situation.

Chew Peng, Jesse, Clare and Jared arrived after lunch. We chat for a while and then took them to Bellagio followed by Korean BBQ!
Mom and Lione arrived late the same night, we took them to Monta for supper.
There are so many people at home now, we do not have enough room to accommodate all, so I have to turn my craft room into a temporarily guest room.

Clare loves this room now! LOL!

December 6
Clare and Jared have to leave 6:30 AM his morning, she just became a foster parent for Lila, Lila was to put to sleep if no one takes her, she already had 4 owners before and they all returned her to the pet shelter, Clare will be her foster parent until someone is willing to take her, but the minute I saw the picture Clare sent me, I knew right away that Lila will stay with her.
Look, she already spoiled her with lots of toys.

We went  shopping at Downtown Summerlin, and then have dim sum for lunch, went to China Town too!

December 7
I made a big breakfast for our guest, and then we went thrifting, it is quite a new experience for my sister. We also went to the outlet mall, I bought 2 pairs of boots and some clothes, gotta to pamper myself too!

Mom made her famous dumplings and DH like it a lot!

it was a fun-filled day full of activities, I am tired but have to pack my bags for tomorrow as my sister, mom, Jesse and I will be leaving for San Francisco!

Thanks for stopping by, more December Project Life coming soon!
