City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 297 ~ Fantastic Plastic

Don't be surprise to see that I am still working on the page of my 2013 year book...

that was before I started project life...

So this is one page for August 2013, when Dolce and I drove to Valencia to see Clare, she was still at CalArts at that time, working in the summer for the school.

the plastic you see here is the film strip.....

it was a requirement to used plastic for our challenge this week at City Crafter Challenge Blog

I think these sequins qualified too...

We have a special guest star for the month of February, she is my dear blog friend Andie Miller, you should stop by Andie's blog to check out her work, she is fabulous!

Come play along with us...

City Crafter Challenge Blog Week 287 ~ Dye It!

This week at

Ros picked the theme

Dye It!

Check out challenge details HERE!

Believe it or not, I am still catching up with my 2013 year book, that is why I chose to do project life to document 2014 and 2015, it is much easier and I can keep it up to date. Anyway..... back to my layout

this is when Lione was here 2013, he watched Papi when we went to Aspen, Papi was only 9 weeks old, Lione misses Papi a lot, and he hasn't come to Vegas for 2 years, he will be here in December though.... I bet Papi can't wait to see him as well.

I used white card stock for my base, a little watercolors, and the rest are just die cuts, they are actually scraps from previous projects

I hope you stop by City Crafter Challenge Blog, we have Marcia Hill, our November Special Guest Star and of course, the wonderful work of the team.

My project is a page for my year book 2013, remember? I am still playing catching up with all the important events that happened in 2013. LOL!

August 19, 2013. Dolce went to Europe to do her abroad studies, she will be going to Rome, and then Spain, last stop is Paris, she will be spending the whole semester in Europe, Papi and us are going to miss her so much.

I used gold ink for my clock face stamp... it was stamped on vellum

really like the effect after I embossed it with clear embossing powder

PTI Make it Monday #191 ~ Glittered Frames

The Challenge:

I was running out of double sided tape, the thin kind, so I decided to use sticker paper for my glittered frames

Product used on this project:

2. American Craft Pebbles die cuts pieces
3. Becky Higgins's Project Life Kraft Edition

I am slowing adding pages to my Year Book 2013, this was the trip I took with Dolce to Vienna in August.

That is why I do project life for my Year Book 2014, I am so keeping it up to date this year while trying to catch up with last year's event, LOL!
